Ok,

Here is a trade list for this thread!

I was passing by the game section while overhearing the employee talk about all 2 of their Xbox 360 systems they got in...

I noticed a few of the games were oddly priced..

Urbz, wario and Pokemon DS we $24.94 or some such thing.

There were many games this way so I am not sure if its a YMMV or what? No SALE signs were there and the tags were a plain white. It seemed to me that they were the current prices.

Here's a compiled list of everybody's finds so far in the thread. The price following the game title are the different reported prices.

All prices and availability is YMMV, and a lot of it seems to depend on the cashier. A lot of these games aren't in the system, and in many cases they won't sell them to you. Two options here:

A)If a game isn't in the computer when scanned, the cashier can try typing in the Stock number that is on the sticker for the game on the shelf.

B)Some people have had success bringing up another known priced game and getting both for that price.

I just got Mario Tennis for 24.97 and Kirby's Air ride 9.97..... That made me very happy because I've been searching for mario tennis for a good year now.

Just got back from Sears and got an old school 12 month Xbox Live card (still worked perfectly fine for my 360 too) for only $20 on clearance. Also grabbed a copy of Madden 05 for PS2 for $2.97.

Now I'm gold for Xbox Live until 7/07. Sweet.

Chibi Robo is NOT, I repeat is NOT, $25. It rang up a cool 50 dollars for me... big waste of gas and time, but hopefully it will save someone else the trip. :(
 
Yeah, I saw Chibi tagged $50. I managed to snag Pikmin and TMNT 2 for GC for $10 each, I was pretty happy; two more games off my list.

-God of War (Non-GH)= $19.99 (about 2-3 copies)
-PS2 Logitech Headset= $9.99 (1 left, I bought one)
-War of the Monsters= $9.99 (4-5 copies left)
 
Went to Sears yesterday and grabbed Wario Ware Twisted for $15. Been wanting to try this game, and the price was right so I had to get it.

They might have mistaken it for "Custom Robo" which is tagged at $24.99 at Sears. Or Sears themselves could have tagged it wrong at that store as has been known to happen.
 
Not to be the one who decided to not research into the thread whatsoever, but. . .

Is this clearance shown in the price of the games on display, or, do you have to bring up the game to the register and scanned to find out how much it costs?
 
^^^MOST of the prices are nationwide and will ring up at the sale price when scanned or price checked. Some stores have the items correctly marked on the shelves, some don't, but the prices should be the same either way.

There are a few exceptions that will show up as no longer being in the system. In most cases like this, you're screwed as they will usually attempt to just sell it at the shelf price or not sell it to you at all.

And finally, Mario & Luigi DS & Kirby Canvas Curse sale prices are ONLY at Sears Essentials stores for whatever reason.
 
Anyone have any luck getting the old 12 Month Xbox Live cards for $20? I checked it out today but they rang up as full price($50) on both the register and the price scanner. I did manage to finally snag a copy of Astro Boy GBA for $10 though, so it was worth the trip.
 
Are the Xbox live cards the ones that come with a headset bag?
I saw two of them in the case, marked at $49.99, but I did not have time
to ask someone to do a price check.
 
The current "sale" expires today. Who knows what will happen tomorrow. Last month they continued the sale. The month before that they lowered the prices. If anyone's in Sears tomorrow, do us a favor and check the price of some of the known "sale" games.

Well i hit up 2 more Sears.. and snagged 2 DK Bongos, 1 with the Donkey Konga game for $4.97 each..also picked up a PS2 Logitech USB headset for $9.99. XBX game R Racing Evolution for $3.88 and the PS2 game Bujingai for $3.97.

hmm that's the same price on R RE, but from what i've found $1 cheaper on Bujingai. sounds like the Donkey Konga might be a pretty big ymmv.
 
I scored a FFXI w/ hard drive for $49.97 today.. and also picked up five (!) copies of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II for PS2 for $24.97 each. This was at the Eastridge Sears in SJ.
 
I didn't think about the Donkey Konga being YMMV. I'll try to get to Sears today (good thing I can get to the mall in less than 6 minutes without traffic!), and scan some UPC's and see what it Donkey Konga and some other stuff scans for.
 
I hit up a Sears on Thursday and grabbed these:
Champions Of Norrath X2 $2.97
Wrath Unleashed $2.97

They had 2 copies of Fire Emblem Sacred Stones, but they were not on file. The cashier said she'd sell them to me at 9.99 since that was the lowest price on any GBA games, so then I had her scan a Zelda Link to the Past and it came up 6.99 & she offered to sell it at that price but I turned it down. I already have Sacred Stones and did not really need it. I also got Mario Golf a week before that at $4.97
 
Very strange... at the Sears I was at yesterday (Roanoke, VA), they used to have Star Ocean non-GH marked down to $24.xx, but now it's back on the shelf at the full $49.xx price. (Unless they just haven't changed the price on the shelf.)

Then again, this isn't the first time I've seen Sears mark a game down, then mark it back up.
 
Tried to scan Donkey Konga w/ Bongos but the UPC I printed out wouldn't scan, I was going to just ask for a regular price check but it was OOS anyway

Dropped by today and found a Pikmin Player's choice for 9.99 . Nothing else I found was worth mentioning, maybe GT4 for 9.99 which I pricematched at CC.
 
I scanned a few games today, Pokemon Dash, Tiger Woods 2005 GCN, Asphalt GT DS, Madden 2005 DS and a few others and all scanned for the same prices they have been at so no new price drops
 
Does anyone know if Sonic Gems Collection has dropped lower than $19.XX at their Sears?
I saw one copy left at my Sears. I also noticed that Batallion Wars and Kirby Amazing Mirror were still $5 less than retail, but that was just on the ticket/pricedrop sticker that they may have forgotten to remove. I didn't pay attention to the expiration date of the sale.
 
^^^I don't think Sonic Gems Collection is part of the clearance and don't recall anyone else mentioning it either. Some stores incorrectly put the wrong tags on some games though, so sometimes you can get lucky.

Batallion Wars should still be $24.99 (after 50% off) and Kirby & The Amazing Mirror should be $14.99 (after 50% off). I don't see too many of either left at any Sears stores, so if you want them for that price, both are good deals.
 
I just got back from SEARS and Got CastleVania for XBOX for $19.99 They also Had Ninja Gaiden Black for $14.87. Americas Army for XBox for $14.87. And Ridge Racer XBOX for $3.88. 5/13/06. Castlevania for Ps2 was Also $19.99.
 
At Sears Essentials today, they had "Major League Baseball 2K5 Powered by ESPN" (PS2) for $4.97 and DK Bongos (NO game) for $9.97. Some sales are Sears Ess. exclusives, so don't know if those are good at all Sears stores.

Don't Know if this is mentioned, but I picked up Pac Pix today (6/12/06) for 4.97. It was advertised $9.99. It was scanned as this amount.
