Here is a trade list for this thread!

I was passing by the game section while overhearing the employee talk about all 2 of their Xbox 360 systems they got in...

I noticed a few of the games were oddly priced..

Urbz, wario and Pokemon DS we $24.94 or some such thing.

There were many games this way so I am not sure if its a YMMV or what? No SALE signs were there and the tags were a plain white. It seemed to me that they were the current prices.

Here's a compiled list of everybody's finds so far in the thread. The price following the game title are the different reported prices.

All prices and availability is YMMV, and a lot of it seems to depend on the cashier. A lot of these games aren't in the system, and in many cases they won't sell them to you. Two options here:

A)If a game isn't in the computer when scanned, the cashier can try typing in the Stock number that is on the sticker for the game on the shelf.

B)Some people have had success bringing up another known priced game and getting both for that price.

The Sears at my mall isn't doing any of the clearence, as I saw Fire Embled : Scared Stone, but it ranged up for 15 dollars. To make matters worst, one of the copies has a giant 29:99 sticker on the front to ruin any attempts to make it cheaper.
 
Anybody have any idea when there might be another mark down?

I've got three FFXI w/HDD sitting in my local Sears. They rang up at $50. But I'm going to try and hold out a little longer.

Saw a lot of player's choice type games at Sears yesterday such as Havest Moon: Wonderful Life and Luigi's Mansion, each for $20. Two games I've never seen at my Sears before, maybe they were stored in the back for a long time?

I was at Sears today, and I saw many games for 50% off. I don't remember everything I saw, but here's a few I remember

Maybe my Sears is just bad, but they only had one bin of clearance games...

The clearance bin was almost all PS2 and GBA (few good ps2 games, bad GBA games).

I had someone do a price scan on the Xbox Live 12 month card (no starter kits?) which was tagged as $49.99 and it rang up $49.99 :'(

The 360 Gold Kits are still up on the shelves with the EXPIRED $20 off coupon, making it a total ripoff for $70 :'( (at all stores, not just sears)

A very upsetting post for my first reply on CAG.com forums :(
 
i guess it is different for every store. they don't usually advertise unless if there's a huge clearance.

btw, i saw a Metroid Prime Hunters (DS) at another Sears. It was "sale"-tagged priced at $ 24.95... has the price for this game ever got lower than $30 or original price of $35-ish?
 
I picked up Metal Gear Ac!d (PSP) the first one, for $19.97 yesterday. Not the greatest deal, but the price point I was waiting for to buy it.

Also saw Lord of the Rings Tactics (PSP) and SSX On Tour (PSP) for $14.97. Don't know if those are worth getting for that price as they seem like games that will go even lower.
 
Saw Nintendo brand Gamecube Bongos (no game included) for $4.97. This is a new drop I think because I saw it stickered for $7.47 last week and today it was stickered $4.97.


Also scanned some UPC's hoping for new price drops on older games. Tiger Woods 2005 GCN and Pokemon Dash and Gretzky PSP (first one) are still $14.97, World Tour Soccer PSP (first one) is still $19.97.

This one is YMMV. I just went to a local Sears and the Bongos with no game were 29.99 and Donkey Konga with bongos was 24.97.
 
Yourself Fitness (XB) scanned at $5.97 and the cashier took an additional 50% off, making it $2.97. The game was in a bin labled "Clearance - take an additional 50% off all items in this bin."

There were 4 or 5 Pac n Rolls in the clearance bin at my local Sears (which is kind of odd since they didn't have any when I checked a couple months ago). They were all stickered as and rang up as $9.99
 
I stopped by Sears yesterday and ended up picking up X-Men Legends II for the PS2 on clearance for 9.97 which I don't think as been mentioned yet on any of the Sears threads.
 
I went to the sears in downtown oakland CA. I n thier bin they had scores of games bu they also had Ledeng of zelda four swords in the box for 9.99 as well as a bunch of x-box live 3 month starter kits for 5.00 each. and DOA 2 packs 24.95.
 
i got em BOTH for 16.97. They asked me if i wanted to save 15 bucks. I signed up for their card, then paid the balance on the card off with cash. The signing up process took 2 minutes!
 
BULL SHIT I WAS ONLY OFFERED TEN BUCKS FOR THE SEARS CARD!

That would have made my purchase of Pikmin 2 80 cents only, but my Admiral Ackbar alert went off, so I decided against it.
 
Picked up Pikmin 2 for 9.97. Also noticed Metroid Prime 2 for 9.97 and F-Zero GX for 4.97. This was at the Sears in Chandler Mall, AZ. There's two copies of MP and Pikmin 2, and one copy of F-Zero left.
 
I was down at the Fashion Place mall today and went to the Sears there. It seemed they were very good at marking all their clearance games at the right prices. Which meant that Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance 2 was still $24.97 and thus still too expensive for me to pick up.
 
Picked up Legend of Zelda 4 Swords (GC) with GBA/GC Link cable for $10 today at my Sears. I've been waiting for that to drop forever. Also I can confirm that F-Zero GX (GC) is $4.97 and Pikmin 2 and Eye Toy are $10. :)

I also got the last copy of Taiko Drum Master for $4.97 (it was stickered $59.99).

It seems like some of the games dropped in price (Forza to $9.97, Custom Robo to $19.97) but a lot did not (BG: DA 2 is still $24.97).

Asto Boy was stickered $9.97 but I did not have it scanned.
 
Are Baldurs Gate: DA 1 or 2 good? I liked Bard's Tale, but partly because of the latter's sense of humor and unique celtic setting.

Metroid Prime 2 at $10 is a friggen steal. Too bad I own it. Pikmin 2 seems worth it, but I still never got what was so good about Astro Boy...

Astro Boy didn't drop as I noticed last week it had a new clearance tag on it that said July and was still marked 9.97
