Selling Entire PS2 collection (110 games) - Gone

Please read everything first if you are interested in anything.

I really would like to sell the games here as a complete set, here or on Ebay. I realize that most probably are not interested/don't have the money to buy everything, so i'm testing the waters to see what people are interested in. I will probably let this go for a week to see how much interest is there. After the week ends I will consider the offers and go from there.

I am trying to save up for a house and would prefer cash only. The only trade I would consider would be this exact video card for my pc, preferably new.

All of the games below have been purchased new by me unless otherwise stated and the discs are in Mint condition. I am a collector and have done my best to keep my collection immaculate. If the game is greatest hits, it will say, otherwise its the original with no red GH Label. The Light gun games listed will need to be purchased in a 2 Pack as I have 2 Official Namco orange light guns that go with them and 4 light gun games.

Because I have so many games, I would prefer to keep all offers at $50 or more (I don't have the time to go to the post office and mail 60 games to 60 addresses for 10 bucks each.) So if nothing is worth that much to you, select several games and make an offer. If I do decide to sell after a weeks time it will be first come first serve or the highest offered price. I will not be going back and forth with people wanting the same title saying "this guy offered me more" to get a better price, it will pretty much be based of your initial offer.

Guys depending on what I see in a weeks time (or longer) will decide if I want to sell or not. If there is mainly interest in a few higher quality games leaving me with tons of leftovers I may end up selling this on Ebay as a package deal. Keep in mind that I work 12 hour days and may be slow getting back to you (a day or two) or if I get flooded with responses but will do my best to respond promptly.

This is your chance to get a MINT copy of that game you've been looking for. Lots of games to choose from. Ask questions if you need more info.

yes thats 112 games.

Hint: copy the list, paste it into excel. There are 112 lines. Thats also how this list is in alphabetical order, excel's sort feature.
 
just a heads up I will probably take this down by wed Jul 18. I will let everyone know who PM'd me how I would like to proceed. If this goes well my much smaller xbox and Gamdcube collection (roughly 40 games per system) might go up for sale.

I also have some rare saturn and ps1 games that I might put up for sale. The hardest to let go may be my 70+ game dreamcast collection with tons of hot games. Like I said with this ps2 sale i'm testing the waters to see what kind of interest there is. Thanks for looking everyone.

hopefully u get to selling those dc games...i betcha your gunna taunt us with a copy of marvel vs. capcom 2 and that one maracas game
 
Just want to let everyone know that this offer will probably be ending tomorrow. I've gotten quite a few offers for the whole package, so this will probably not be sold individually (but it still is possible). My Xbox collection may be next. I don't think i'll be selling my GC collection as I originally thought. I just got a wii the other day as a birthday gift and will probably end up keeping my games to play on Wii. Thanks everyone for looking.

For Saturn the rares I have are
Panzer Dragoon Saga - I bought this the day it came out from toys r us and never even got throught the first disc (out of 4 total) due to me playing so many other games. This is in Mint condition (probaby scratches on the outer Jewel case itself but the book and discs are perfect) I was the only owner of this game.

Shining Force III - Same as above, bought on day 1 (mint). I have been the only owner of this game.

Dragon force - mint bought brand new by me (only missing memory card sticker that I used on my saturn memory card)

Magic Knight Rayearth - mint, 1 owner

Guardian Heroes - disc only (bought at media play used)

Nights with 3d controller - not really rare but nights is a cult classic

My saturn is modded so it plays imports.
Some saturn imports I have:
I have Xmen vs Street fighter, Darkstalkers (vampire hunter i think?), King of fighers 96 and 97, samauri showdown 5, possibly a couple more. I have the official Japanese 4MB memory pack required by these games and the official 1MB SNK memory pack.

Dreamcast games
You name it, i probably have it Mint Including Marvel vs Capcom 1 and 2. I have pretty much all the capcom fighting games and shooters, snk fighters etc. I also have 2 of those green official arcade sticks. I have virtual on: Ontario tangram? with the official japanese dreamcast (not saturn) twin sticks. Imports I have Capcom vs SNK 2 with bonus disc, Shenmue 2 European english version) and maybe some others I can think of right now.

If you want to PM me before I officially put these games in their own system specific thread you MUST offer a price. Once again this will be cash or money order, no trades. I know some will probably be looking for deals on these games, but they are too rare to be letting them go at a cheap price, for example Panzer Dragoon $75 will never happen. PM me if you need pics to make a serious offer on anything.

Foo228 - That is correct. These rare games are not being offered at 'cheap' or 'discount' prices. I realize this is a site dedicated to people looking for the lowest possible prices for everything. I also realize that a lot of 'hardcore' gamers look here as well. I am a collector of video games, who is turning into more of a 'casual' gamer due to me having a wife, kid, family and not being able to buy and play games as much as i used to. I figured that I would offer up what I have been collecting for something that would be useful to me now....cash for a house.

I am still a gamer at heart and will never let any of my collections go at 'bargain basement' prices for something that I've spent at least 15 years doing. These saturn/dreamcast games are no longer found in stores and are in MINT condition. To normal gamers this doesn't mean much as they just want a working game, its simply a bonus if its in perfect shape.

I am looking to pass these on to a collector that places value in having a game in perfect condition as that is much more difficult to find than an incomplete/imperfect game. I could have gotten a lot of these games used for a cheaper price, but i held out and paid more for new copies to insure they were perfect when I got them, and have put extra effort in keeping them in this condition.

I am simply letting everyone know what I have like the ps2 games i've put up in this thread. I would be willing to sell my more rare games for the right price. If that price never comes around, they will stay in my collection as I'm not hurting for cash. Selling this will simply speed up the process of getting what I want (a house). Just wanted to let everyone here know where i'm coming from.
 
just read through your explantion matyou and even though the prices seem a bit harsh I guess that is fair..

hopefully the xbox stuff will be at a "discounted price"
 
Wait? Shenmue II for Dreamcast in English? The only English version of the game was the Xbox release.


Well, it did have English subtitles, but that's still not English.






Also, do you have Dreamcast accessories? CML - I need quite a few.
 
to be honest naes I can't remmeber if the audio is in english or not in Shenmue II. This is the Euorpean version of the game I bought from an import shop.

For accessories I have
2 green offical arcade 6 button fighting sticks
1 japanese offical twin sticks for Virtual on
2 or 3 official dreamcast controllers (1 still new in box)
several (4-8) vmu's
 
Foo228 - I hope the reply didnt' come across as harsh, but basically my rare games aren't going to be officially up for sale, they will only go if I get a good price on them (which prob won't happen and i'm fine with that). Stay tuned for my xbox collection...thread to be up in a few minutes.
