I may have to spring for one of the Katamari picture packs. Is there anywhere that shows what they look like? The official web site for Xbox Live Gamerpic listings doesn't (as of now) have Beautiful Katamari listed at all. I guess I'll check the marketplace next time I fire up the 360 (it is mostly dormant now thanks to Metroid ;)).

definitely feels better than 07 but that doesnt mean much.. i also hate demos that automatically exit. after 2 quarters your automatically back at the live dash

Shit...I saw the RE5 theme earlier but didn't notice it was 30pts...that's awesome. I'll have to check that out as well as the Bioshock theme.
 
be careful the theme for Resident Evil are just wallpapers like a picture not an actual theme. Not sure about the Bioshock one however. I had the same picture that I got for free on the internet that I could've just put on. I want my 30pts back :cry:

like its just a simple picture. When you move each blade its just that same picture unlike a theme which has a different picture each time you move the blade (i.e. marketplace, games, media, system etc)

man, i was hoping for some daylight with the live 08 demo. Damn that game is crappier and more canned then ever. I can't wait to see a 2k8 demo.

I thought it was ok, but the controls felt off. Graphically it looked nice, but that is not everything. Although, Lebron James was able to dunk on anyone.

NHL 08 is still a GREAT effort from EA (based on the demo)

The game felt good in the opening shoot around, bet in game it felt like everything was running at half speed. It is better than 07, but NBA 2k8 for me this year
 
ive been playing alot of the nba live demo and its quite good...

loads better then live 07.. getting back to the live 06 style which was actually fun...

In game it had a great broadcast feel and animations were fluid... definite improvents. 60 fps makes a diff

i dont like that when using icon passing, the controller letter shows up under the player and its difficult to make out the letter sometimes

i think it could get a decent score this year.. ofcourse you wouldnt know by playing the ps3 demo.. wow was that bad..

It still wont top 2k though as their game is just amazing every year.

Its funny that one of the lines for their in game advertisement is "running at 60fps." LOL to me it just hilarious after the game moves so unflidly. This game seems like they decided to use their ultra-smooth(and boring) madden 2k8 engine which doesn't give you a sports feeling at all.

Wow, that demo sucked ass. Skate is going to be much more fun. THPS controls feel like shit after I played the Skate demo.

Yea I haven't really played a Tony Hawk since like THUG and after playing Skate, TH just feels ridiculously fast. Skate isn't perfect but the whole new "Nail the Trick" thing feels like shit compated to Skate's whole game using a similar concept without the need of bullet time.
