I'm up for a new phone from Cingular and I've got about seven choices to choose from for a new free phone, but I need some help in choosing the best one. I'm primarily looking for a picture phone with customizable (customizable in the sense that I can use a USB cable to put mp3s on the phone then use those for a ringtone) ringtones, and wallpaper if possible, and any other nice features are a plus. Here are the phones and my first impressions:
LG C2000

+ camera, external color caller ID, voice-activated dialing, nice extra features
- Decent look
Motorola L2

+ Good enough look
- Bluetooth (not sure how I could use that), no camera, vague features
Motorola L6 (Also available in Silver)

+ camera with video capture, nice look, nice extra features
- Looks like propietery connector on side (does resemble mini-USB)
Pantech C300

+ camera, customizable mp3 ringtones (to what extent?), nice extra features
- Don't care for the look
Samsung D407

+ camera, customizable ringtones (Music Tone?), nice extra features (like push to talk)
- decent look, WTF is EDGE compatibility?
Samsung X507

+ camera, very nice look, external caller ID, very customizable ringtones (to what extent?)
- WTF is high-speed EDGE data transfer?
I guess just from the initial impressions, I'm most interested in the Samsung X507 and Motorola L6 the most, with the LG C2000 coming in at third. All but the Samsung have the ability to show the phone in 360 view, so I can see what connections it offers and I'm not really seeing a mini-USB connector on any of them besides maybe the LG, but that's covered by a rubber plug. The L6 has a similar plug, but it looks proprietary. The Samsung's supposedly have this EDGE means of doing this, but I have no clue what it is. I'll probably get the L6 if my parents are willing to do the rebate (it's refunded as a visa reward card) and either the Samsung or LG if they're not willing to do it. Any personal experience or knowledge about what some of the terms (Edge, Music Tone vs. mp3, etc.) mean would be greatly appreciated.
