Well, everyone thinks pointsettia is, though it's not.

edit: but it turns out that mistletoe is, probably.
I've heard that poinsettias are very bad for cats to eat.
What the hell am I going to ask for for christmas... nuts to this. I'll just ask for a hooker.
Is the person who's providing that for you have that kind of money lying around?

Just remember the golden rule

Dead hooker > alive hooker.
Picked up Jungle Beat w/ the extra bongos this morning. The guy at the register was wondering why they had gotten a huge shipment of those things in.

Now I just need to get the Konga games.
Nice. Fry's here had a bunch of the Konga games (w/bongo) for $20 each last time I checked. Should still have them since nobody buys GC stuff there.
I've heard that poinsettias are very bad for cats to eat.
I don't think anyone likes cats, though.

Stupid question-- are there outlets for laptops on planes? I'm taking a 12 hour flight to Buenos Aires in a few weeks.

International flights normally have them, due to the length of the flight.

If you can find out what type of plane you're on, you might able to figure it out on your other. Calling the airline might be an idea as well.

I know the last time I flew, which was from STL to LA, I think one leg of my flight, either the direct flight back or the 2nd leg out, the plane had outlets, and I think it was a 757.
you're going to BA too?!
yeah! Buenos Aires, Mar Del Plata for New Years and Iguazu Falls for recovery from New Years :)

Did you decide to go there as well? last PM I got from ya said you were considering there and somewhere else.

That's a relief. I'm pretty sure it'll be a jumbo jet of some sort.
damn i dont feel like going to the laundromat (fuck spelling) but im down to wearing my last clean underwear.
That's what you get for not having 365 pairs of underwear.

Well, decided to give Children of Mana a shot. Plus I ordered the newest Fables volume (8) to get it up to free shipping. Hopefully it'll end up shipping sooner than it said. It said Fables was still a preorder, but it came out on the 6th, so it should technically be shipping by now. We'll see if they just didn't update it or something.
That's what you get for not having 365 pairs of underwear.
haha. i did buy a pack when I was running low once but that was when I just moved to san diego and was near a jcpenney and school was just about to start so i didnt want to worry about doing laundary that week.

Well, looks like I'm headed to Hollywood Video to swap out Gears of War for another game, seeing as the fucking thing freezes all the god damn time in it...
My school is having a snowball fight monday morning at 7 am. You OTTers are more than welcome to join! ;)
Wait... they encourage snowball fights? I always got yelled at in school for even touching snow. I figured it'd be an expellable offence now.
I think I broke my fucking neck in my sleep.
Dare I ask? :whistle2:s

Or was it another attempt of self-service fellatio? :whistle2:s

I forgot how much I loved Before These Crowded Streets. So many awesome songs. "The Dreaming Tree", "Halloween", "The Last Stop", "Don't Drink the Water"...Pretty much the whole album is amazing.

You'd figure after the fisrt three times he'd just stop trying.
The real reason the WSJ showed Cheapy's picture is so they could sell more issues by showing of that bald sexy head of his.
Some people just don't get the hint.
Don't rag on the man's perseverance, he's got a noble cause and the determination to do it!

And a lack of flexibility that's causing some issue.

Nah. Feels more like Shang Tsung visited me in my sleep. (And took my soul, too.)

Cheapy or Ack? ;) Cheapy made a thread in the General Gaming forum if you're refering to him.

I just got back from EB for the Donkey Kong Jungle Beat deal and it didn't go that smoothly. The cashier doubted that they had spare bongos, but decided to check the back room anyway, where he came back with a spare set of bongos. Then he almost charged me $20 for it before I pointed out the price in the ad, which he had trouble getting the code in to lower the price to the advertised price. He eventually got it through and I paid and left. It's lucky for me that I remembered that I forgot the ad and went back for it before getting to EB.

Strange enough, there were several mexicans that came into the store while I was there. Not one of them spoke English. One wanted a PSP and the others were talking about the PS3 from what I could tell. "Pee Es Tree"

Well that was interesting. I've now twice today had the blue screen of death. I thought we managed to kill those off. The first one happened while I was in class / at the bar, but the second happened while I was playing Titan Quest. Time to see if I get a third one tonight, cause then I'll be worried.

Trifecta is now in play...

I need something new to play. Suggest me something non-sports for the GCN or Xbox 1. :D

A DS game is fine too.

hey guys. i normally don't get involved in the OTTs, but I had a sorta OTT question.

we are doing secret santas at work, and i am supposed to write down 3 things that I would want from my secret santa (must be under $10). I really couldn't think of much. I put down:

chocolate
and a calculator for my desk.

any suggestions? I know there are plenty of games under $10, but I don't want to send them searching retail stores, or ordering stuff online. Just something quick and easy to find that is under $10.

The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay

Damn it, now they'll be bitching about the games that are only in English...fuckers
The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay
Mebbe. I rented it once and thought it was alright.

The day will come when nobody can count out cash and change... and it will be thanks to Visa. What a stupid commercial. :/

That day is all ready here. I went to get a pack of smokes once and the change I was getting back was 24 cents. I hand the girl another penny so I get a quarter back. The stupid bitch hands me back 23 cents. I'm like "I get a quarter back, not 23 cents". She looks at me like how dare you question me...stupid twat. She hands me two dimes and 5 pennies. I swear, how fucking retarded do you have to be in this world to not forget how to even breathe. I was so tempted to grab one of the women that works there normally and suggest to them that they never let this stupid cunt near the register again.
You would think so, but they didn't have any copies of dk1 or 2 in stock.

I printed mine in b&w.
Got the deal for xchika.

Extra set was Nintendo bongos.

Also picked up Ape Escape 3 for 9.99.

Well the semester is coming to a close next week and soon it will be a whole one month back home with no cable or internet.

Of course let us remember Lennon today.
Damn. Jungle Beat is incredibly fun. Best DK game since the SNES games.
My friend is supposed to be bringing my gamecube back to me tomorrow, so maybe I'll try it out then. It's too bad I don't have the konga games, we're gonna have alot of people over.
