I just got back from Target and picked up the last copy of this game for an absolutely unbelieveable price.

I don't know if it was a pricing error or what as it's still $49.99 at their website but I knows I gots it cheap.

Holy fuck! I will check my Target tomorrow, but I am 99% sure they will not have it at that price, if they have it at all!
 
man if this is like this at my target, some CAGs might be in luck, thats is of course if they have more than 1 copy in stock or if they even have it in stock.
 
Just an FYI it was a red tag price so it was a clearence title.

I don't have a scanner or camera, I'm so digitally poor, so you'll have to just trust this nearly 1,000 count poster.

A lot of CAG's must have nice Targets. My Target never even had La Pucelle in stock. The only thing my Target has is about 1-2 copies of main stream games like GTA San Andreas and all the rest are PH / GH / PC games.

mine had La Pucelle, but I am pretty sure they did not have this game. I think I am going to check though
 
I've hardly ever found anything in the Clearance sections at any Target. I got XIII for $7.48 ages ago, only to find last night that one of the discs is scratched and it won't install. Some deal that was!

But I'm going to have a look anyway, it never hurts to look. That's a good score. :)

very true words. it never hurts at all to look.....unless.....i won't go there. just don't go to target anticipating to find this game or any other deals for that matter. that way if you find this or another sweet deal, it'll be all the more savored
 
Considering Target is less than 5 minutes from me I always check these things out, I score about 1 in 5 times but I can always pick up grocery items cheap and justify the trip.

If I get a chance later on today i'll stop at the Target in Wake Forest to check it out.

I too found XIII on clearence at target, except for me the discs weren't even inside the package. I tried to return but they told me that since the package was already open they could only exchange it for the exact same item, only they were out of stock of the game. I finally got them to give me my money back but it was way too much of a hassle.

hmmmm this is a definate checkout, my Target had LPT in stock back in the day so SMTN shouldnt be too much to ask
 
clearance games at target are really hard to come by unless there's something really crappy laying around.

since i work there, i check the games sitting in the backroom every now and then with the scanner when i'm backstocking stuff... the thing is, if a game goes clearance and it's sitting in a bin in the backroom, there's a chance that it will never get pulled out and get stuck in backroom purgatory until someone "happens" to find it. found a bunch of freedom fighters xb and nfs undergrounds gba this way.
 
Well this is another good reason to check out some Targets or something. I normally go there anyways whenever I'm on just hopeing for a good deal (which barely everrr happens). But thanks OP I'll check out tonight.. although I don't ever recall seeing SMT o_O..

I porbably wo't find it at this price but I need to go to Target for some shelves anyway. Hopefully I'll luck out and find something on clearance.
 
I've picked up Breakdown, La Pucelle, and Front Mission at discounted prices from my targets thanks to the unknown temp price cuts...i'll be sure to check this out too (even though you said it was red tag clearance, never hurts to check)
 
My target had it awhile back, but only a few copies and they never got it back in stock. Same thing happen with La pucelle,
 
oh yea, to the OP, was it marked with a sticker/tag as the 15 bucks? or did you just happen to get that as the scanned price, thinking it was 50?

I just ran to the Target in Wake Forest, North Carolina.

Sadly, no copies to be found. I expected as much, but I was hoping i'd be able to find one.

I also printed out the UPC so I could scan it through their little price scanner things to see if this was the actual price in their system. When I scanned it through, it told me "Item information not available." So i'm not sure if the UPC I printed out was bad or what.

Anyway, if any of you guys in Raleigh have any luck, save a copy for me please :)

nice find OP! hopefully my target will have this for that price. Did it have a red clearance sticker on it? or was it just in the glass case?
 
"first printing" of SMT:N had a soundtrack packed-in [a pretty cool one at that, I'm listening to it now.]
It's quite possible that there was only one printing, thus, the statements
"first printing had the soundtrack"
and
"all copies have the soundtrack"
could both be true.

Excellent game, I paid full price for it and don't regret it, 15 bucks is a steal.

Sorry, I didn't realize there was a LE version of SMT:N . Only game around here of recent that was referred to as LE was Phantom Brave, as well as Mech Assault 2.

It is quite possible that all US printings of the game are LE with soundtrack, I honestly don't know, and I should have mentioned that in my response instead of just being a jerk... but I didn't :wink: .

I have seen listings that made no mention of the soundtrack, but that is no indication that they didn't have it originally.
 
I already know none of my local Target's have it. I already bought the game during the TRU sale, and glad I did. The only places that carry now that I know of is EB and Gamestop. I hardly believe this deal is true.
