Another question.... If I'm just short of $100, can I grab a few of the unsold items for a few bucks to get to $100 / free shipping?

(If I win the receiver I'll split the shipping, or pay at least $10- $15 towards the shipping, don't want either of us to get hosed too bad.)

I messaged the guy and he found a loophole that I forgot in my rules that said that there was no minimum bid and I didn't feel like arguing the issue. Honestly though, if you're going to pay 50 cents, you'd pay a dollar too.

That's completely understandable. I think (possibly, unless he forgot it) DV8's rules state that the starting bid is $1 regardless, but fair enough. If somebody bids $x.50 on an item, then I think it might be a little bit more of a problem.

He may have found a loophole, but pulling that sounds like a good way to get on the Lowball Shitlist. And for what? 50 cents? Not too smart.

It's better to not make a HUGE deal, since TheCoryJihad has run a fantastic lowball so far for his first. If anybody else bids, I doubt he'd have a problem with them bidding $1 on those, but I can't make that decision for him, so it's better for him to mention it.

The same guy has a shit-ton of $.50 starting bids in another lowball - I'm going to overbid on every single one of them just to help the OP of that one out. I mean, there's cheap ass, and then there's "seriously dude?" garage sale/vulture cheap ass - lol.
