I wear Skechers. They look professional, yet are very comfortable. Also I wear the same shoes everyday that way my feet are used to them.

I think Vans skate shoes (not the old school slip on Vans) are great walking shoes. I guess really depends on the your foot type cause I find them very comfortable.
Clarks are really comfortable too. Their styling is more for a business casual work environment though. I bought a couple of pairs when Amazon had a shoe sale a couple of months back. I hadn't even heard of them before, but I was really surprised by them.

I'm not really a cheap ass when it comes to my shoes. I rock Ecco City Austin slip on's they are nice enough for work (teaching at university) and good to wear casually.
If you have something that you love in style but dislike in comfort, I recommend SOLE heat moldable insoles, you thorw them in the oven then stand on them and they fit your arch perfectly. I use a pair in my hiking boots and they make a huge difference.

All black tennis shoes all the way. No one looks close enough to notice they aren't dress shoes, and if they do, wtf are they looking at my feet for anyway.
