If you're gonna get designer shoes, get good looking designer shoes.

Something subtle and understated, classy. These (mine) are fine for sneakers, but I would never wear them for any formal occasion:

I made a thread about shoes awhiles back and people came in and shit in it too...if you're not into shoes GTFO.

Anyways, I usually sport AF1s or Dunk Lows.

Not gonna lie though...most of the shoes posted in this thread are...questionable.

I'll subject myself to some trash-talking, I think these two are awesome. It bums me out that they use sweatshops, but so do the cheap brands. At least I can get 2 years out of these.

Either brown or black dress shoes for work. Currently have a pair of brown dress shoes/loafers from Street Cars and black dress shoes from Nunn Bush I got in a buy one pair get another half off deal.

Otherwise its just running shoes (old pair of addidas currently, was New Balance but those got a hole and I haven't gotten around to shoe shopping since) and sandals in the summer outside of work (and often on days I'm not teaching and just in my office working on research etc.).

I just have to say something here, someone shouldn't be judged by the color of their skin and the price of their shoes, and if this gucci shoes guy really is retarded like you guys say then you shouldn't make fun of him, lives have been ruined that way!

Granted, I am not fond of gucci shoes, I am not fond of any shoe (have been wearing my current pair for over 3 years) and I think people should just walk everywhere barefoot (or they should make some generic shoes). You all put way too much importance on brands, that's why a lot of kids get bullied! But back on topic, half the shoes everyone else has been posting are just as ugly, not to mention most of the guys posting like Final Fantasy, so if you already have bad taste you just shouldn't give your opinion.

And another thing, There aren't ONLY Mexicans in Tucson (though there are a lot), there are also a lot of old white people, so don't automatically assume just because he likes gucci shoes and lives in Tucson that he's a wetback. This site is called Cheap Ass Gamers, but I think it should be named Cheap Ass Racists Who Like Final Fantasy And Put Too Much Importance On Brands!!

I've never hated on Gucci. I love Gucci. I've even got a pair of Gucci flip-flops that cost more than all of the knock-off Gucci shoes that you posted, and probably any other shoes you may have, combined. Fake is anything but fresh, yo.
