SingStar PS3 - General Discussion & Info - SingStar Dance now available ...

Thanks for the heads up about TRU. Picked up a copy of Singstar Legends for 6.99 + tax.

Now to find Rocks, Pop Vol. 2, and 90's on the cheap!
 
i just checked out a different toys r us and cleaned up! legends and 80's for 6.99, amped and rocks w/ mics for 13.99. then i got pop vol 2 for 21. totally lucked out.

It was on, so I turned it off and that made it perfect. I dunno how or when this got changed since I did nto even know it was an option. But a very big thank you for the tip on how to fix this.

It really helps to hear what they are singing when you have no idea WTF song is lol.

And Legends is by far the best disc I have in the series.
 
i got lucky...went to TRU last thursday, and got the last copy of Legends that they had. pretty sweet deal for $7.

Yeah, you can't access it from a US account. You'll need an EU account to see what they have.
 
Are we likely to get that Johnny Cash song in the US? I'd forgive them for their complete apathy towards our market so far if they just released that one song.

I'm honestly surprised it's not up in the store right now. I mean, it seems that everything that comes on the various singstar discs in the US are available in some fashion in the store. If that's not the case here, then in all likelihood, we probably will.
 
Well, I finally got all the 'easy' SingStar trophies... 50 solo, 200 battle, 200 duets, and 50/100/300 songs played. Now I actually have buy mics that work if I want to beat Bravo... :/
I also found out today that playing half a song counts as one song towards these trophies, so if you want to get them quickly... this will save you a lot of time. :)

Also, I reuploaded my old videos again in hopes that I can get another couple of trophies out of them, so if you guys have the time, please rate them 5 stars... thanks. ;)
 
ha freekyzeeky i was going for the browsing trophy last night and i remember your name. I think I'll add you as a friend I need to get that trophy as well. those are the easy trophies. ha.

for the battles did you actually battle or do you just sing into both mics at once or what?

You should just be able to sing in one mic and not worry about the other...
 
Yeah, my red mic does not work at all so I just used the blue one, which works like 30% of the time, and still managed to get all these trophies. ;)
 
i was just curious I've never actually tried a solo battle. I just assumed the other person would fail out and it would stop the song kinda like Rock Band when someone just isn't pulling their weight
 
Ya, that would apply for duets. The max you can get with one mic would be 5000 pts, since the other player is responsible for the other half of the points.

In a battle, both can compete for the max of 10,000 pts. ;)

I don't believe it! I see at least four songs that I want to buy. They may already be on other discs, but this is the best update I've ever seen. 8/10 baby.

I only show up 2 myself, but then again, there may only be 2 people on my friends list that have played Singstar. Do you think they have to complete an online profile in order to register properly?

Yeah, it's weird... x3x1x isn't in my SingStar friends list either, so I don't know what's up with that. If you want SB, delete me and add me again from within SingStar, maybe I'll show up that way?

Is it? I better get on that and pop in my new copy of PS3 Pop Edition I got yesterday!

I got the fried trophy the first day just by going to my friend list in game and there was like 8 people there. I'll have to see if it's been cleaned up or anything.
