Skullcandy Headphones $9.99 at Sam Goody's

I got two pairs from Staples for $3 each, under unusual circumstances. Really good bass for earbuds but highs lack clarity. Minimalistic music sounds great, but busy music sounds quite bad. Movies also tend to sound pretty bad. They're extremely durable and well-built though, with a good fit (adjustable size) and great noise cancellation. There's a volume control on the cord, which sometimes comes in handy.

For $10, you really can't go wrong, but I don't know if I'd even recommend them as iPod bud replacements. Better cancellation and better fit than the iPod buds, but nowhere near the sound quality. If you just need cheap buds, definitely worth the $10.

Wait a minute..

you think iPod earbuds sound good?

And you do realize these are in ears veruss buds? right?

but seriously..ipod earbuds?

Next thing you know you're going to tell me that durabrand portable CD player you bought to throw around the house came with some awesome reference cans....blew your grados out of the water, right?

i'll have to run out to walmart before all the audio snobs realize what a deal they're missing...how much is that durabrand? the one for $12.88 or 9.96?

Cool! Personally, my favorite headphones are the JBuds J2 earbuds from http://www.JLabAudio.com . I just got an advanced pair, they don’t officially come out until the 28th of November on Amazon. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a pair of the Onyx Black JBuds J2 and they sound GREAT! You can get the details on them at http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001GS8FZ2 . I’ve had them for a few weeks and they’re the best headphones I’ve ever owned. They are extremely comfortable and very durable.
