Ahhh philosophy, the most important subject with the most irrelavant courses. But still it is nice to thank our forefathers on occasion.

I think the solution is Ctrl-C & Ctrl-P
I agree though. I wish it kept the quoting in quotes during replies.

ctrl-c/ctrl-p you say? Too much work.

I have never ctrl-p'd in my life. I right click-paste.

I do, however, ctrl-c/ctrl-x.

Also it's only too much work if you have something better to do with your time.

You fucker, you broke the chain!!!

I haven't had to read a book in a long time, and even then I didn't do it. I read for pleasure, not purpose.

You have fun though.

heh, yeah, I guess I do right click-copy, right click-paste about half the time and ctrl-c/p the other half. depends on where my other hand is.. (no, wait, not like that!!)

speaking of reading for pleasure, how far along are you in BR?
I read for pleasure, not purpose.
by the way, isn't that oxymoronic? If you're reading for pleasure, isn't pleasure your purpose?...

All of you talking about BR (and espeically Captain Battle Royale himself Sneaky) make me really want to actually watch this movie/read the manga to see if it's really as good as you all make it out to be...Maybe I'll do that during my "Reading" days.

I just realized something. You can't ctrl+C and then ctrl+P since you would then go to the printer screen. You meant paste (ctrl+V).

End pedant observation.

I feel the same way about having not seen Sin City yet~ I wanted to much earlier but keep getting busy/not having anyone to go with, I think I need to grab someone and kidnap them to go see it with me, because people seem to be raving about it every time I turn around.

I have no letters on my keyboard anymore, I claim ignorance through the fact that I never look at the keys.

It is good... And the fact that the Hollywood director guild idiots didn't want to take a chance on it (forcing director Robert Rodriguez to quit) makes its coolness factor all the sweeter.

You should go kidnap someone! It's awesome...Unless you kidnap a little boy....Cause then dc might have something to say about that >_>

Speaking of little boys, I think I might head off to bed soon. I'm pretty much screwed. I only managed 85 pages out of about 500 pages tonight. Somehow in the next 36 hours I have to find a way to get the reading done and leave myself enough time to work on my writing.

The manga? Not far, I haven't gotten vol. 2 yet (on order from rightstuf). I also haven't started on the novel yet.
by the way, isn't that oxymoronic? If you're reading for pleasure, isn't pleasure your purpose?...
Whatever. Actually I guess the purpose would be ignoring my real life, which isn't nearly as interesting. Same with movies, music, and games.

I haven't been able to get anyone to see it with me either, at least not since the first week. Luckily I saw it three times in that span. :D

You can go to the movie by yourself. The first time I did it (kicked out of my apartment for construction) it was kind of lame. But I've been to a couple others and it wasn't as bad ;) You get used to the lameness

The only reason to go to a movie with someone (assuming your intent is actually watching the movie) is the post-movie discussion. However if everyone else has already seen it and is raving about it, you might as well see it alone. You can never get back that initial impression.

Time for sleep, work in 6 hours.

Yeah, a movie can be a good first date thing because then you have something to talk about afterwards. That and you don't have to worry about conversation through the entire date.

But if you don't have a potential date, or it's a little bit after the movie came out, who cares if you go by yourself?

The first movie I saw by myself was the Day After Tomorrow. But maybe I felt so dirty because the movie sucked.

People should be lining up long and deep for that honor. :D
