The only reason why GameStop will take down your number is so you stop asking/calling them about it. Just look over at the GS subreddit, they all hate that they are making this since everyone and their mother will keep their phone lines tied up.

A lot of us already got the euro versions of snes classic so the thread is doing good.

When the USA versions go live lookout. I'm guessing they all go live the same day or within a couple of days when they find out their preorder allotment, just like the U.K. Sites. So if you miss the first keep checking back and hopefully get it from Best Buy or wherever if you miss amazon

I haven't watched wwe since austin , angle, Benoit, Guerrero were all active and main eventers
 
If it's reasonably easy to do I'll add terranigma, dkc 2 and 3, and castlevania xx, I mean it's just adding more roms to an emulator, and the nes classic was easy to mod?

Will it use a standard n64 controller?

If Nintendo makes a n64 classic I hope they take time to fix some of the mistakes with the controller.

Banjo and kazooie, bomberman, NFL blitz, DK, Pokémon snap, excitebike 64, Timekillers, ogre battle, shadows of empire, blast corps, wave race, confers, diddy kong, mario kart, mk64, perfect dark, star fox.

Too tipsy to think of anymore.

The inevitable evolution of this classics line is Switch Classic. Two games: Breath of the Wild and Snipperclips, mini dock but controller recreated 1:1 in all its former glory. Release date 2023 (after N64, GameCube, Wii, Wii U, and Virtual Boy Classics line).

Then by that time we will be clamoring for the days of the Mini NES so we'll get a Mini Mini NES.

I feel like we won't get any more beyond the NES and SNES- those two systems were very popular and have come to define mainsteam's idea of retro games/classic games.

I do wonder though, if they will do a Game Boy Classic... and if they do, will they make it a set top box (console) or if they'll make a super slim handheld.:whistle2:k

 
They better have Ogre Battle for the N64 Classic at the very least.

(I love this shit posting thread..ya'll keep me so entertained while I'm waisting my life away F5ing the same 4 websites).
 
SSB was amazing, but this was always THE choice when facing a rage quit, but you still wanna game.

If I had to guess, I'd say you're right. The thing about the "mainstream" that you mention, is that these two systems hit that nostalgia funny bone just right for Gen X'ers who have distanced themselves from gaming but would pick either of these up in a heartbeat if they were more widely available. Remains to be seen if the Super Nintendo Classic will have enough stock to capture some of these casuals.

Although there is some nostalgia for N64 since these people are now having kids of their own, I don't think they grew out of gaming as it became more socially acceptable to be an adult gamer. They might be playing these N64 games on emulators or Virtual Console. Of course this all gets thrown out the window if a theoretical N64 Classic has the same low stock numbers. Hype/scarcity might be able to carry it.

A Gameboy Classic could work. I actually think people would want that chunky feeling of the old Gameboy but it'd HAVE to be backlit though.
