Hmm I played Shadowrun but I didn't like it much... the teleportation deal was cool but other than that it was a below-average shooter.

should have gotten online with me, brak, TFN and others. It wasn't too bad of a time, but there was to many connection problems ruining it.

I had another fucked up night of dreams. This time, I was on an outdoors stage with two of my friends and the stage was at the first house my family lived in. We had like four people watching us and tried to do some Beastie Boys songs but it just wasn't working. Then it started thundering/lightening and the bolts were striking really close to us so we hid under the stage...and there were these wolves trying to mess with us.

I quit.
 
I've had messed up dreams for the last two nights as well.

Last night featured me going to an arcade, and this pissing off my woman so much that she called me to tell me about how I considered the characters from some game (I want to say Street Fighter 2) more noble beings than people like Abraham Lincoln, Ghandi, etc. She took this to mean that I was a shallow and terrible person.

Also there was some sort of odd awards ceremony going on and I was singing in a choir full of the guys from my high school choir.

Weird.
 
Circuit City has subpoenad CheapyD and DVDtalk to get personal information for Speedy1961 so they can sue him. That pisses me off in an awesome way. I wish there was something I could do .. perhaps make a thread in the OTT to have people contact CC management?

Yikes. I don't think he'd have anything beyond an IP and the e-mail he used to register with anyway. Hopefully Cheapy doesn't cave.

I want to know what law speedy would be breaking, and also wtf CC could do to Cheapy. He's in fucking Japan. Somehow I don't see CC having jurisdiction there.

My guess is speedy gets the ads early due to whatever job he has and part of the deal is you aren't supposed to disclose the content of the ads to anyone. So it wouldn't be criminal but CC might have a lawsuit if speedy's signed something as part of taking the job. But that's just all talk out of my ass.

I'm doubtful they served him with a NDA when he started to work where he's at, so I think that argument won't hold water.

I'm surprised that CC is asking CheapyD for the info, as all he has is an IP address and email address. Dumbasses think they'd get more? I doubt that.

From the link on Kotaku, Cheapy said he's hiring a lawyer. If I remember right from his "I'm moving to Japan" info he mentioned back in the day, Mrs. Cheapy is a lawyer. :D

We could pull a "I broke the dam/I'm Santa Claus" schtick and say that we're all speedy, and then give 192.168.0.1 (or 127.0.0.1) as our IP and fuck[email protected] as our e-mail address.

That could be fun.

Though, as much as I hope it works out for the best, I've been saying forever that one day some shit would go down with this site. I'm surprised it took this long.
 
Watched most of Taxi Driver last night. I didn't know much of anything about it so it was interesting to see what it's really about. I didn't even realize how many fairly big names are in the thing. (Other than De Niro of course.)
Also had no idea how violent it was towards the end. I'm guessing I left off right near the very end. Have to finish it off today.

I think the only info that Cheapy could provide would be email address and IP address(es) and that should be extent of it. I'm glad he's hiring a lawyer in a fuck you to CC.
 
Cheapy could slip the CC e-mail address to someone discreetly, and then claim "OMFG, TEH HACKRZ R STEELIN MAH MEGAHURTZ 4 EPIC LULZ~~!!!111" when CC complains they've got a few thousand people claiming to be speedy.

Microsoft is making it really difficult to resist the damn 360 at this point.

It annoys me to think I might pick one up with the new heatsink/HDMI/65nm chip, but missed out on half price points (needs me some Catan and SOTN, bitches). That's gotta be a new excuse to not get one, right?

Such is being a CAG.

Edit: This does mean the only difference between the Premium and the Elite is some HD space, aye? Well, and the paint job.

I'm just going to sell the old 360 to my cousin and pick one up in the near future. A premium with the new heatsink, smaller chip, quieter drive, and HDMI port.

Now that the premium's have the HDMI port, yes. The color and HDD space are the only differences. 20 gb is plenty of room though, especially if you can work out streaming from your computer (which is fucking awesome) so you can keep your music/video on your PC and access them on demand.
 
It's like they want me to buy the damn thing!

Instead of, you know, making fun of it like the great elephant that it is.
