Actually, that is one of the persons I am leaning to. Of all the bigger names involved this year, his views in regards to the economy and noninterference, among other things, are closest to mine. I'm still going to do more research before I am decided though.

I really want to vote a third party candidate since I generally can't stand either major party, but I want to make sure they are exactly who I want to vote for.

Either way, I am not giving it to Obama or McCain.
 
If I voted for a third party candidate it would probably be for Nader. I couldn't stomach any of the others (like Paul, Barr, Baldwin)

I don't know a whole lot of details about what each of them support, but what I know I don't particularly like.

In general (so all of this won't apply to all of them equally), their opposition to immigration and working with other countries seems far too paranoid and damn near xenophobic. I know both Paul and Baldwin are against abortion rights as well (I assume Barr isn't, being libertarian), which I think is a mistake. In general I think they're too against the government, I don't think the government should own or control everything, but I think that a blanket opposition to the federal government really doing anything isn't a good idea either. I'm not a huge states' rights supporter, I think a lot of things are better done on a national scale (and I don't think state governments are any less bureaucratic, in the negative sense).

If you want to list off shit I could tell you what I would/wouldn't support, but in general I'm pretty much a lefty, so I think it's probably obvious why I wouldn't support the more right-leaning candidates.

That's pretty much in a nut shell why I don't like any of the current third parties. I've a very solid democrat views wise, with arguably some socialist leanings. Cleary third parties that are conservative/libertarian aren't going to mesh with my beliefs.

That's actually kind of an interesting question. I'm not sure who really "owns" it. Regardless, you can stream it on probably every major news site (and youtube) and there may be some sites where you can directly download it.

I don't know either.. I am watching it on CNN, and it works but my internet is still slow and skips.

I'd rather download it and stream it to my PS3 and watch it that on my TV....

I'm voting Obama, because I'm afraid of Palin, who is basically Dubya MK.II with a dash of Hitler.
If Obama had pwnage, I'd probably vote for Ron Paul or Nader.
 
It's pretty pointless, but if I have the time, I'll have to give McCain the nod only because he'll tax me a bit less than Obama...

Wow! 60-4 for Obama here so far... can't say I'm surprised given the general attitudes of this board, but still... I hope that guys don't really think that he's actually going to make a difference because if you do, you'll just be disappointed.

There is probably no chance that Obama will fix everything but that does not mean he will not do any good.

After all it would be almost impossible for anyone to fix up the mess that conservatives have left us.
