Looks like the rain is dying down and the puddles in my back yard are receding, so there should be no flooding tonight. I think I'll head out and get the mail.
 
I am soooooo not in the mood for being attacked or harassed ok Mox...I don't care if you found it as BS but it was obviously not directed at you, so your feelings on the situation don't reflect mine. I'm sick of this kind of shit that's beeng going on for a while. Enough is enough.

Uh, Brak didn't deserve it, UGaymer had it coming though. While that post in particular wasn't super offensive his general attitude was and I am pretty sure we are all better off with him silenced anyway.

That still doesn't explain why if your guys feelings get hurt you get the permission to use punishment but if ours do we can't do shit. I'm just saying, I see the opposite of justice here.

Like I said earlier, if you attack me, its no big deal. I have a thick skin. The only problems I have are when folks break teh rulz and/or are disrespectful to the rest of the community. There's no need for that.

This anger is, like I said a few posts back, heightened by the feeling of mod unfairness that has been going on for far too long, and quite simply I don't have as much patience as I once had. It's clear that the mods are not on our sides, and while that is upsetting, it would be nice if the mods would relax.

Question I have for you is the following. Why are the mods having to be put in a box of being on this side, or being on that side? If rules are followed, there'd be no problem. I know I'm a simple-minded person, but the logic does hold in this case.

Question I have for you is the following. Why are the mods having to be put in a box of being on this side, or being on that side? If rules are followed, there'd be no problem. I know I'm a simple-minded person, but the logic does hold in this case.

I understand when heavy innuendo posts are deleted. Ex. Hey, where can I mod my Circle? That can be deleted fine, no problems from me. But what about when legit posts are deleted? Not once. Not twice. Not 10 times. Not 20 times. Dozens of times. Then entire legitimate threads get deleted, and everyone's pissed off at the mods because they are being unfair and they are putting their own piracy context into posts. THAT is when I truly start to separate mods from the OTTers because they are not acting like OTTers; they are acting like bullies who are unwilling to admit they were wrong. That is why the mods and the posters are split.

Just yesterday, a pair of posts from Mojimbo and I were deleted, just because he asked what version of Photoshop I recommended and I told him to get CS3 because it was, and I quote, "easiest to obtain". Wubb took that in an extreme piracy context, and eventually the entire thread was deleted.

I like having rules that everyone has to follow. Not ones that get made up on the spot. I'll follow any damn rule you want if its written down in the rules section.

I dont know the lingo, but that doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Second, why be mad at the mods when it was other OTTers who've kept posting crap which has been (in my understanding) repeatedly and explicitely stated as a huge trip to ban city? You try posting Avast Ye Mateys anywhere else on this board and you're out. So why keep posting that in here? What is the motivation?

You guys all know how to contact each other through other methods, and yet all I keep hearing about are the same names over and over posting piracy related garbage. Some of y'all just hate authority in any form or position so you're going to hate the mods no matter what. But the truth of the matter is that the simplest solution to the problem would be to just keep that off the boards in the first place.

Now again, I dont speak your language. So I cant comment intelligently on whether legitimate posts have been deleted, or y'all are crying wolf when your just ticked that your post was deleted because someone saw what you did there.

I dunno Mox. Why not just say, it's the cheapest? Easiest to obtain does sound like it's meaning something other than, it's easiest to find in the stores.
