So I start out today for some pawn shops.. the last time I went to these, I walked away with Ninja Gaiden and 2 copies of FF:CC for $8 each. I was hoping to somewhat repeat history.

So I go in the first place, the place where I got Ninja Gaiden last time. They had Jedi Outcast on GC for like six bucks and the Back to the Future DVD set for $9.99. I passed on both, but I would come back and get them if I found nothing else.

I searched shop after shop, finding an endless barrage of sports games. What was I hoping for? I dunno, something recent at least. I wouldn't of minded a Futurama, just.. anything.

My very last pawn shop, I found something.. well.. two somethings, actually..

Needless to say, I grabbed them both. They were extremely cheap.

I swing by a local store that's actually NOT a pawn shop, and i'm greeted with an awesomely cheap game:

I don't have a PS2, but Guessed said he wanted me to grab him one, so.. that's his copy, and yeah, it's sealed.

So then i'm browsing around a bit more.. stumble upon the XBox section.. and find one of these bad boys, still sealed up..

And I'm happy because I just picked the first one up on XBox for $3.99 from the TRU sale.. so I'm all set to buy it, then I notice multiple copies of it.. then I notice the price on the copies.. so.. needless to say.. yeah, screw it, I hoarded it, it had multiple markdowns, you guys had your chance! :p I wanted them, so I got 'em. I've never hoarded before, but this situation definately called for it. I'm going to resell them here fairly cheap, I think.

So yeah. Total haul.. three FF2's (all sealed), Neo Contra (Sealed) and two copies of Ninja Gaiden. Now here's where the fun begins.

Neo Contra and FF2 are, apparently, being heavily discounted at one retailer. YMMV as always, but it's likely that you'll go there and see FF2 fairly cheap.

Anyways, guess the prices of my total haul. FF2, Neo Contra and Ninja Gaiden (each) and i'll post where FF2 is being discounted when someone gets it right.. or in a few hours.. whichever comes first.
 
For those wondering, I'm thinking.. $30 shipped for Fatal Frame 2, $25 shipped for NG?

My pawn shops suck ass for the most part. I'm hoping someone guesses the total soon. If the store chain is one in my area, I may check it out even with the used one on it's way.

Scorch offered me one of those FF2's and I already had it, so whomever gets one of 'em, you're welcome. :D

I'm guessing the whole haul was $50 or Scorch's virginity, which ever is cheaper. :rofl:

If the used copy I get from EB Games is in piss poor condition, I'd get it Fatal Frame II from you. I won't know until Friday or Saturday though (it just shipped today) and I wouldn't want to hold you up.
 
I, for one, am dying to know who this "retailer" is, Scorch, for reasons that are probably pretty obvious. Did they have any cheap ps2/Gamecube goodies?

I'll estimate 80$ for the lot of it, but only cause I want to know where you went.

Well, I'm surprised Zion hasn't ripped you a new asshole yet for hoarding...I mean he was so adamantly against such practice last night, I'd figure he'd be crapping all over this thread right now.

I guarantee it is not the Rhino in the boro. It isn't in the boro at all. And, yeah, $10 is good for BttF, but it's only $20 new now, so it isn't that huge.

I know its 20 new...but 20 is ten more than 10, and 10 is ten less than 20...so that means 10 would stay in my wallet and 10 would leave my wallet, now how much money did this item cost?

(sorry it sounded like one of those really easy math questions that they word in a wierd way to fool you on stardardize tests)

Speaking of Rhino...guess where I picked up a shiny new *sealed* Resident Evil 2 (gc) for $40 credit, which amounts to about $20 cash, today? ;) :D
