So if you're stranded on an island with a DS, and only 2 games...

...which 2 games would you pick?

trauma center isn't a bad 1st game also... it will make you go WOW! DS = COOL
trauma center is boring, go with osu ouendan, best game on the ds
To each their own. And what if someone doesn't have knowledge of Japanese?

Animal Crossing (since it will last forever and is quite fun) and Phoenix Wright (although it doesn't have a lot of replay value)

Maybe Warioware. I'm sure it would take an eternity to get extremely high scores.

Japanese knowledge is not needed.
To answer the OP question I would bring Ouendan and Animal Crossing.

Suicide.

If I'm stuck on an island with only a Nintendo DS and two games, I swim out far enough and long enough that I have no energy to return, then let myself be lost forever in the ocean.

But the two games I would get stranded with are Nintendogs and Tetris DS.

Mario Kart DS or Mario Kart Super Circuit

and

Super Mario Advance 2

Edit: I'm tossing and turning still after reading others choices. But in final, I would choose 2 of these: a Mario Kart, Super Mario Advance 2, and Puzzle League or Tetris DS.
How would you charge it?
Plug it in to an outlet, duh
It was never said that it was a deserted island.

To answer the question I guess Sonic and RE: DS since those are the only 2 games I really enjoyed....I haven't played Phoenix Wright yet though, so that could always be a contender. I personally found Trauma Center to be frustrating and repetitive.

GBA games? Cheater

I guess I'd want something that doesn't really end, so meteos and metroid pinball for me...

although I haven't played those two games in a while because I'm busy with nintendogs, mario and luigi, castlevania, advance wars, trauma center, and sonic rush.

(Pick your first two from that list OP :p)

So would Britain apply?

You'd still have trouble charging it, if you had the U.S. model.

But if it weren't a deserted island, you'd probably try to sell it to raise part of the air fare back home.
Lunar and King Kong
Then it would be torture.. and the suicide option would sound very good

Anyway, I'd say Ouendan and Advance Wars: DS

Lost in the blue and trauma center.

1. I would bring Lost in the blue so I know how to survive
2. Trauma center so I would know how to fix myself went something went wrong.
Have they made flashcarts for the DS yet?
Yep, they utilize a GBA like cart that has an expansion slot for flash memory cards. I'd take one of those(2+Gig) loaded with as many SNES roms/DS roms I could cram on there. Then, eh, Animal Crossing.

I've seen solar chargers..

anywho..

I would definately take Animal Crossing and Advance Wars: Dual Strike

However, these aren't my two favorites just two that would last me on an island.

In the purest sense of the question...
If you were stranded on a island...
I would want to have Lost in blue for extreme survival strategies and Animal Crossing.
If this is a wi-fi enabled island id buy mario kart ds instead of animal crossing

Feel the magic 1 and 2....unless im not stranded alone on this island that is ;-)

lol seriously though if you are wondering which games you should buy
Castlevania
Trauma Center
Ouendan
Jump Superstars(gonna need a guide)

I have 23 games for DS and those would have to be the top 4 in fun had so far.
