So I was in the Seattle/Tacoma airport earlier in the week and I left my DS case there with about 12 games in it. Wow. Very angry. It may be awhile before I can play that thing again w/o getting too angry. Just thought that I would share.

Games lost:

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that, but at least you didn't lose anything irreplaceable. I mean, it won't be cheap to recover your library but games like Phoenix Wright, Castlevania, and Trauma Center would be a shame to lose.

Well at least it wasn't a child you lost.... although I do think a DS Lite is worth at least 60% of a dowry in Japan these days.

dude that sucks....this reminds me of the time that some kid little kid almost lost hella GBA games while I was at SF airport. "this was when GBA just came out" luckily I saw him walking away with a GBA... then I gave it back. Lucky I was there cause any other guy would have just taken it.. I feel bad that I or anyone nice enough wasn't there to help you man...
 
Man, I just wanted to come in here and commiserate. I have since rebuilt my collection better and stronger, but I had only had my DS Lite for 2 weeks when I lost it, the case, thumb stylus, and 3 games at O'Hare. I had just scored a copy of Castlevania DoS the night before, and I had been telling everybody how much I loved having the DS! At first I thought it had been stolen until the fuzzy memories came back of just how retarded I had been. I really, truly, feel your pain. It sucked!!!!!!!!!

A wonderful friend replaced my Lite for my birthday. I owe that guy one. Everybody else gave me gamestop credit, so I bounced back (thanks to CAG as well). Make sure to play the pity card for everyone who might give you Christmas gifts :)

Eh, yes and no. Sure starting up is fun again, but the amount of grinding it would take to get them back to where you were... that's just too much for me.
