I'll get that eventually too. I have GR2, but don't play it at all on Live, maybe this will change it.


To get this back on track, I may not be on tonight at the start of "practice", as I am most likely going to see Wedding Crashers with the old lady. But I should be on at some point later in the evening.
 
I have 3-a-day football practices every day for the next two weeks and scrimmages on Saturday’s. 8 hours on a 110-degree turf field drains nearly all ability to play video games. Haven’t been able to play the past few days and it will be hard to see me playing very much in this upcoming timeframe. If anyone was really wondering, ha-ha.
 
I might not be playing Halo as much. I constantly have to move my modem to even play on XBL, and when I do, I don't want to wade through lag or spawn in front of a rocket. I've been playing the Battlefield 2 demo and Rallisport Challenge 2 plenty, so I might start to break away Halo a tiny bit.

I've been on varsity for three years now and I'm getting my time in at tailback and weak side linebacker as a senior.

Craven and CAG staff, I did not make it to practice due to some training at work that starts at 6:00 a.m., it's killing me, but it will finish next Friday, and I'll start a regular schedule after that, sorry I haven't been on as much as I used to. I'll be back on track pretty soon though...

I assume so. Ubisoft was originally a French company, and they have a lot of ties with Canada, but I'm pretty damn sure the game they're making -- like the PC games before it -- will revolve around our country's Army.

Ohhh, you mean the game's name is America's Army. Yeah. That one. I hope it's better than Black Hawk Down, which I reviewed recently and found out it basically sucks -- even though it supports 50 people on one map over Xbox Live.

If I remember right, this game is supposed to be similar to Full Spectrum Warrior, if I am thinking of the same game. If thats the case, and its done right, it should be a pretty cool game. Enjoy the event for it though Violent.

next tuesday (possibly wednesday) will be my last "official" night of attending "practice"...school starts next thursday, and school comes before halo or any other form of gaming...i will play on the weekends occasionally, but it might not always be halo 2...you can remove me from the clan or whatever you want...i would be able to make some of the "practices" if there is no school on those days...

had fun in the summer, but it's almost time for business again
 
What mic do you have?

I bought the RS6 heatset from CC and it went out after a week. The mic still worked but the headphone was shot.

Still using the one that came with the subscription for live. First the busted connecting piece and now this. Its time to get a good replacement one, for the next few months.

dunno what high school you went to...but usually high schools grade on a GPA scale of 0 - 4 (4 being all A's in normal classes)...you get 5 points for Aceing honors classes and 6 points for Aceing AP classes...

I was being a smartass, I know the 4.0 system, had it while I was still going to college. But yes, my high school was on a 12.0 scale, and that was insane.

MOst schools don't even give you more points for the honors or AP classes. I know mine never did.

The Army developed the PC game themselves in '02, which can be downloaded for free. A company called Secret Level is doing dev for the console game (Ubi's publishing), which does have a lot of similarities to the PC game, though there's an entire single-player campaign mode, where you start as a trainee in boot camp and pick your job -- which then effects what type of soldier you are in multiplayer.

The Army is giving tons of input. They can't put in a mission until one of their consultant soldiers signs off that it's realistic. At the event, I got to jump out of a 35-foot building to simulate leaping from a plane (we were tied to a sort of zip line), and fired a buch of guns: M4 (standard rifle), M16 with thermal scope, and the Barrett sniper rifle with a bullet longer than your finger and a louder bang than a firework. I was aiming at a tank through the scope that was so far away I couldn't see it with my naked eye.

2. Should I mention that the Xbox has a Samsung DVD drive in the auction or should I just play it stupid and see what happens?

Comcast is being a bitch, so Olrox and I won't be on until it clears up. It's been cutting out from time to time. It's currently up now, and if it stays that way, we'll probably be on later tonight to try the Multi-Team playlist out.

Thats odd, so many people I've heard from that use Comcast, have troubles with it on Live. But I can say I've only had trouble a handful of times with my connection on Live, and that was due to someone messing with the family router. I guess I just have better luck with Comcast, go figure.
