Just got an email from playstation underground for socom 3 beta testers. If you are interested check you emails/playstation underground out.

i just signed up also.

anyone know a good place to get a headset? or even what are the better headsets to buy?
 
Damn you office filters! I can't check my hotmail from here! I'll be pissed if I miss out on this
 
Do you have to register your PS2 to get an e-mail? I have an account with Underground, but don't know how they send e-mails. Maybe it's at random?
 
if you want to be a beta tester, log into your underground account...go into your profile and you will need to check on a box to get emails, and to participate in beta testing

Its not there anymore.

Sign up for the Game Advisory Panel and complete all the stuff there.
I just signed up for it about a week ago and I got a Socom III email already about it.

You don't, they send you an invitation via e-mail to sign up.
 
Well how do I sign up for the game advisory panel, and or how do I get them to send me the beta test email? Oh man I would love to beta test socom 3.

hmm, the only box i see to check is this:

"Thanks for giving us your valid email address. We’re ready to start sending you customized email newsletters, special offers, and more—but first, you must give us permission to do so by checking the box below."

is that right, or is there a separate one for betas elsewhere?

Btw, for people trying to get in on this-- go into your Underground account, go to Online Preferences and answer their questions about Playstation On-line. I did that and got an email shortly after about SOCOM 3.

Btw, do they let you keep the game after you are done with it?
 
no you won't get a headset, you will get a beta version of the multiplayer game...i was in on socom 2 beta...it is a little more choppy, the graphics aren't touched up, but the basic bare bones are their...they are either testing their servers and how they handle people online, as well as any glitches that may be spotted...you should, but don't have to fill out surverys....it doesn't take that long

You have to be invited to the Gamer Advisory Panel (G.A.P.). This is an email only invitation. Theres nothing else you can really do.

I'm in. This is like my 7th beta for sony. FFXI, killzone, monster hunter, project snowblind, battlefield modern combat and syphon filter omega strain. I CLAIM MY NAME: Eviltude! Let's do it CAG'S!
 
If you answered their questions on the playstation online, you just have to wait untill they send you a beta application.
