The TRU in Murrieta CA. is pretty much wiped clean. I got the last Outfit and the last RE4.

They did have some copies of Metroid Pinball but that was about it.

This was a good sale...too bad it fell on the worst shopping day of the year.

Some people have learned that they don't necessarily need to speak if they don't have anything constructive to say. It keeps from cluttering things up.

True in (hopefully) most cases. The guy who we were talking about, though, is definitely an exception. Crap like that deserves a 1 day ban, IMO, just to make him humble. Even better, we could have The Iron Sheik make him humble!:lol:

Yeah, that store was raided by their employees. I overheard a few of them talking about it while I was in line the other day. No RPGs. No good DS games. The cashier even told me that he had picked everything up for himself.

That store is always the worst for clearance deals. I go to trhe ones at Lakeside and Oakland Malls for better deals.

Clearances are exactly what they imply. The prices are marked down until the inventory is cleared out. Once they are gone, chances of them coming back in stock are slim to none.

I also saw Donkey Konga 2, but when I did a scan it came up as being 20 bucks. Is there any way of getting the cashier to make it 10 bucks?

Yea. The Pokemon Firered's at my TRU were the old NON PC one's that came with the wireless adaptor for 9.98. I'm sure the newer Players Choice FireRed's ring up at there orignal price of 19.99.

Hey guys, I am in a crappy situation right now. I bought 450 bucks worth of clearence games and now have 750 bucks of store credit at game crazy. Atelier Isis 2 and Monster Rancher Evolution yields 22 bucks of store credit, so 12 buck profit, Dot Hack and Samurai Champloo yielded 16 bucks of credit. Thank god no one in El Paso knows about this site. I wish i had cash instead of store credit.

Steamboat gets 12 bucks some change with instore credit. When trading in junk I got an MVP card to get an additional 10 percent. I am thinking of criag listing some xbox 360's and selling them a bit cheaper to get money back.

i only go to GC time-to-time and they never tell me about it so i have no idea.

i have a bunch of games i think i might just end up trading there rather than selling. maybe get some good ds games or something.

How about you just try and get those clearance games back and return them so someone who might actually play the fucking things gets a shot at buying them? Asshat...

MVP is 20 bucks for a year and subscription to a magazine (EGM, ESPN yada yada) If you are planning on selling or buying used games a lot I recommend it.

In what way is it crappy? You choose to do it - and presumably with $450 worth of games you were doing the same ones multiple times. I could see bringing in one set and maybe being disappointed with the trade values, but you quite clearly kept on going. If you don't use it to get a sharply discounted PS3 or Xbox 360 then consider that you can have all the nearly half-price games you want over the next year or two. Why is that crappy? Now, I haven't traded in anything from the TRU sale because I didn't think it was worth it. But I did flip a few Kmart clearance games to GC. My rule of thumb is that it is only worth the trouble and hassle if you more than double your money. So you failed on that account, but surely you have some use for the credit? You weren't expecting to be able to turn that into cash easily were you?
