I went to my local TRU to buy some games, and, man, it looked like they've got robbed. There was only a few DS games left, and entire Wii section with games and accessories was completely wiped out. I guess, no $5 polarium for me.

Funny, I've had 0 problems finding Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. In fact, I've never seen my Toys 'R' Us sell out of this title. That's why I'm always scratching my head over the inflated $40 and $50 prices that this title fetches on eBay.
 
Man hopefully some of the stuff I want is at least there the 26th and not cleaned out by people finding out about the price drops. Some of these games are too good to pass up for these prices.
 
Great sale. Kicking myself over the fact that I own pratically all of the really good titles, but bought them at full price and still haven't opened them (sup Grandia). I'll head out at opening to see if I can grab Steambot Chronicles and Metal Gear Acid 2, but that'll be it. Odama's mildly tempting. I'd pick up .hack but the first games were horrible, and all the reviews I've read on GU don't inspire much more confidence.

I would actually like to get Cold Fear though, just to beat the game. Resident Evil Boat :lol:

Kick ass update! I'm in for .hack//GU, Grandia III, Metal Saga in addition to Atelier Iris 2, Samurai Champloo and Steambot Chronicles, and Castlevania DoS DS.

.hack//GU Vol. 1 just came out not long ago and already clearanced to $9.98. Good for us :)
 
Gonna venture out first thing tomarrow and try and grab a bunch of those PS2 games. I know my TRU had a few of these in stock a week ago, so I hope they are still there tomarrow!

Responding to the additional items, I managed to find one last copy each of Grandia III and Point Blank. OTOH, there is no hint of this clearance in the post-Xmas mailer I received last night. OTOOH, clearance markdowns aren't usually mentioned in those.

I'll feel a lot better after I've made it to TRU tomorrow morning and either get the price adjustment or return the lot.

probally not. IF the sale is instore only then they wont price adjust them.

This sale has been confirmed by 3 or 4 TRU employees at this point... I'm 100% positive it's going to happen.

BenBoxer has been giving us TRU updates for years, and ShinAkuma has been right on the money on a ton of other TRU drops, most notable the half price Final Fantasy games.
 
I'm just glad it's not advertised... TRU has been nice to some CAGs on their old clearances at least once a year... Each year it's a thing I look forward to even though I have no idea what the hell I'm looking forward to.

Probably hasn't been on FW because most of this stuff is worthless to flip, just making $5, $10 at the most... there is nothing here as amazing as DDS 1 of last year.
 
I have no Toys R Us or any store capable of price matching near me, and would love to get Advance Wars and Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. I'm 16 so have no credit card, but I would be able to send anybody who was able to pick these up and ship to me (Bluffton SC) the remaining amount in my Paypal, which is $39.80. Tomorrow I'll work my ass off for the full list.

Make it a point to price check tomorrow on stuff not on the list that has aged a bit as much as most of these titles. I'm assuming there's at least 1/3 more of what we have here with possibly a 360 game or two floating around in the clearance.
 
im gonna go out tomorrow and try to snag the capcom psp titles...i really hope i can get my hands on the megaman games

just hope "prebuyers" havent snatched em all up
