OMG, I passed up WarioWare when we were at TRU earlier because I thought how am I gonna play this on the GB player (I don't have a GBA), tilting the Gamecube? But now my brother's like, "what about on the DS?" #-o I had totally forgotten that the DS plays GBA games! But will WarioWare Twisted work on a DS?

I also didn't get Drill Dozer because I saw in the Kmart clearance thread that they have it for $3, but I'm going back now to TRU to get Wario and secure myself Drill Dozer for now. You can return clearance games right?

WW works fine on the DS, that's how I played my copy I just got.

Picked up Grandia III at the Wilkes-Barre TRU in PA. They had a few copies left.
I didn't really look through the rest of their games as I was in a rush, but I think I saw a copy Steambot Chronicles on the way out.

I went to my toysrus, it looked liked it was literally ramsacked.DS boxes on the floor,empty shelves-except for the several Harry Potter games-,opened acessories,and a majority a games in shooping carts.I got a hold a Meteal Gear Digital Novel but it rang up at regular price.:bomb:The store did receive Wii(s),but I didnt buy one due to my disliking of the console.:roll:This was in West Hollywood(LaCinega and 18th).

I only picked up Samurai Warriors: State of War. I could have picked up more games, but the last thing I need is more games I don't have time to play. I'm just saving up for a PS3 instead.

Like slidecage said earlier, the ones in our city didn't have any of the PS2 RPGs.
 
Wow, I definitely found more than I expected to at my nearest TRU - they had lots of copies of Metal Saga, Steambot Chronicles, and .hack G.U. - I did find Atelier Iris 2, but it was their last copy. I also found a FFXI and a Polarium DS that I wanted.

I'll consider trading Metal Saga, Steambot, and Hack for any of the things I didn't find, and if I get enough demand, I'll go back and pick up a few more of each for trades (as I'm not 100% sure I want to keep all three).

Hit another TRU this morning, most of the good clearance stuff was already gone but did manage to pick up the last copies of Rub Rabbits and Capcom Classics Remixed as well as a Super Monkey Ball so not too bad.

Got Steambot Chronicles ($9.98, think they have one left), Gradius Collection ($9.98, several left), and Phantom Dust ($3.50, last one). They had one FFIV GBA left that I should have bought but didn't.

I looked in the game lock-up case and saw THREE Castlevania DoS in there. I got so excited, I told the employee that I wanted all three of them. Turned out they were empty display cases! What a bummer!

Grandia III ($9.98, a couple left). This store is cleaned out of the popular clearance titles except for a few Drill Dozer, some role-playing game Ark of something for PSP, and Valkyrie Profile Kenneth (sp?). Oh, and the clearance 360 games.


I hit both the Milwaukee Av and Western Av stores early Tuesday and I didn't see any Advance Wars or Castlevania. I was looking for those, also. Those games must have been sold out before the sale started.

So I have an extra Grandia III (new) for trade...I'm looking for Metal Saga (new) or FF I&II for PS1 (new or used but must include original case and instruction booklet)
 
I managed to pick up Metal Gear Acid 2 today, as well as a copy of the MGS Digital Graphic Novel (regular price), so I am an extremely happy panda at the moment. The only thing I missed was .hack//GU. I went to the TRU in Cary, North Carolina if anyone wants to check it out. I saw a number of the PS2 RPGs in the glass case, but I don't know if they were just display cases or what. The cashier seemed very surprised that MGA2 rang up at that price, and I think he took the last copy for himself...

yea... the tru on western is so wrecked and disorganized that it's laughable. got my mga2 there.
 
Car troubles meant I couldn't make it out today. :cry: The cost of getting it fixed will likely negate any game saving for me anyways...

I was gonna take Metroid Prime Pinball and The Rub Rabbits but I was a little short on cash + The Tower SP but I know there's a good amount of those 3 games left,so I'll tell my bro to go pick them up,and as Fatbeer and many other NY CAGs have said,I didn't find/see Tales of Phantasia,Wario Ware Twisted,Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green w/wireless adapter,Gradius Collection,Valkarie Profile Lenneth,Donkey Konga 2,Resident Evil DS,Meteos,Megaman Powered U and Maverick Hunter X, but otherwise,I made out with a pretty good haul,the only thing that I hate about that TRU is how freakin crowded it is in there and the big ass lines,but good luck any of you NY CAGs up in there-its hell in there,and look closely for games,oh yea and for PS2 I did see Rogue Trooper for 9.98 and Samurai Champloo for anyone who's interested,although I don't own a PS2,but that's it for me.Oh yea and thanks again OP and the CAG Forums!:D

Picked up the last chibi robo at my tru. I really wanted Castlevania so if anyone has an extra, PM me.:D

There were 3 capcom classics at my tru as well as lots of odamas(edit: also rub rabbits and trace memory). I can pick up either of these if anyone wants to do an even swap for DoS, again, PM me, I can pick this up tonight and ship tomorrow if anyone wants.
 
Just as a note to other members, the Oceanside, CA has pretty much NOTHING on the list. All I saw was Rub Rabbits.

I think the employees hoarded everything.
 
there are some nice games in there like minish cap and advance wars ds and a few others. I am not even going to bother looking at the los angeles stores as the good games are almost always gone by the time i get there. I may have to check the one on la cienega just in case tho
 
Okay just finished up a full run to 6 TRU's throughout SoCal, including one I went to yesterday. Both the really ghetto LA stores were wiped out completely.

But at one of the stores in South O.C., they had MULTIPLE COPIES OF VIRTUALLY ALL THE HOT TITLES ESPECIALLY THE PS2 RPG's (Atelier Iris 2, .hack//GU, Grandia III, Metal Saga etc.), except for the DS hot games. I hid multiples of each and also asked the manager to put a bunch of games (I handed her a stack of like 20 games) to put on hold until Sunday. I told her I would give her a $20 when I came to pick them up and she liked the deal and told me no problem. I also bought everything that I was missing in terms of PS2/PSP games from the clearance.

So if anyone is interested and finds the following terms agreeable, PM me - I will need to know by Friday afternoon so I can pick up the games Saturday (I can go tomorrow or Friday if I get trades soon) but the sooner the better. I don't care if the games are open, as long as they are complete with box/instructions and in excellent shape.

I managed to get Odama, Gradius Collection and Tales of Legendia. I really wanted Atelier Iris 2 but the only TRU near me didn't have any. Oh well, they're just going on the stack for now anyways.
 
The TRU in the Rockaway Mall in NJ and the TRU in Wayne, NJ both have both tons (read: 5-7+) of copies of Tales of Legendia, Hack GU, Metal Saga, Steamboat, Samurai Champloo, Grandia III, Monster Rancher Evo, and Atelier Iris 2, if you're looking for these.

Thanks to the poster who mentioned Rockaway about 15 pages ago. We went there first and got pretty much everything we wanted at that one TRU.
 
I'm looking for Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow! Will trade/pay 20 paypal. The only thing I picked up was Tower and my TRU is practically out of everything except for the GBA and a few of the DS titles.
 
I think the number of people looking for Castlevania DoS and Resident Evil DS (including myself) outweighs the finders about 10 to 1 right now. Needless to say, leave no Castlevania or Resident Evil behind if you are lucky enough to come across some TRU stuck in the Twilight Zone that still might have these on the shelves. Your fellow CAG's will be eternally grateful.
 
Hmm, 20 bucks for FFXI? How's that deal? I paid that much for the PC version, but I'm willing to put 20 more in if it means playing on a big TV with a wireless controller.
 
BTW, whats up with the old as picture of TRU on the main page? Do any TRU's still look like that? I've never seen one.
 
Not a whole lot left at Greenwood or E. Washington in Indy. They both had an Odama or two behind the glass, and not much else. Lots of Gunstar Super Heroes at E. Washington, though, if anyone is interested.

Oh, and East Washington also had a PS3 (60GB) that had apparently just been sitting there for two days. Yikes.
