In all the Kmarts and TRU I've been to in the past 2 weeks (damn these markdowns), I haven't seen not even one Rub Rabbits. I've seen Xmen Legends 2 but it was at a Kmart. I wasn't looking for it in TRU, but I don't recall seeing any.

Little off-topic, but I too picked up a Wii today! Only I found mine at Best Buy. $250 plus tax. I did my usual of asking the guys in the gaming dept if they had any and he said "we just got like 20 in from UPS, they are unloading them now".

I was told by the manager at the TRU I went to that Steambot Chronicles and Dawn of Sorrow were retail price because they're behind in the case. :( Got a few games that weren't though.
 
Thanks OP for updating on Christmas Eve! Went today and picked up the last Odama from my location (Pleasant Hill, CA). Thanks. No luck on Chibi Robo or Castlevania DOS, though.

Also, my TRU would not accept the $5 off Gamecube games coupon.
 
TRU Customer Service sucks. I tried calling for a price check on Tomb Raider Legend for 360 at 2 of my local stores during my lunch hour and I was put on hold with both stores for 10 mins each before I gave up and hung up. *cries*
 
Ventured out in the beginning of a blizzard (lol seriously) to see what my TRU might have (about 15 mi..)

Picked these up and they are available!

DS - Resident Evil Deadly Silence x 4 (had more but expecting at least 18" tonight)
DS - Metroid Pinball (Rumble Pak included)

PSP - Capcon Classics Collection Reloaded
PSP - YS The Ark Of Napishtim
and maybe a Gradius Collection

360 - Quake 4

Picked up the couple we wanted but would trade/cash for -

PSP/DS puzzle games (used/complete fine)
PSP Movies (used fine)

Wii - Elebits (used complete fine)

360 - Rainbow Six Vegas (used complete fine)

Also, I have an extra FFXII (PS2) from the other TRU Christmas thread for anyone who wants it. Someone who originally requested it backed out (had trouble with his paypal account) so it is now available again. I'm still checking if one other person who inquired about it a while back still wants it, but if not it's up for grabs for $30 shipped. Still brand new and factory sealed. If not I'll just return it but I'd rather it go to a CAG instead.

The only thing is if you want to do paypal it has to be from existing funds/checking account as I'm not able to accept credit cards. Of course I can accept check or money order as well. Just let me know.

I went back yesterday and found a lot more games. Apparently I had gotten in to my Toys 'R' Us too early for them to set out all the games on clearance, either that or the table wasn't big enough to hold it all. 'Course, I'm not gonna say that all of the games on the clearance list were available, but at least 75% of the game were.

If anyone needs the following, they are in hand. Following the lead of another member's post, I think an additional $5 for each game should cover the postage and the PayPal fees.

I had a similar problem except I was dealing with the cashier. Instead of scanning the games and seeing what they rang up as he just went by the tags. Lucky for me though was that one of the games wasn't tagged behind the glass case and he was forced to ring that one up.

You should've seen the look on his face when he saw the 9.98 price tag. He had a look like someone had haxxor'd the register. Then after he snapped out of the shock he went back and scanned all the games i had asked to see what they would come up as.

Although...Call of Duty 2: GOTY for the 360 rang up as it's $40 price and not the $20 like mentioned in the list.

I was in a store yesterday that had some Advance Wars and Castlevania, but I didn't realize the kind of demand that they had.

I was looking for Metal Saga and Steambot but I just went ahead and pulled the trigger on an Ebay purchase because I don't know if I'll have time to go back to that store that had the DS games.

Are people still looking for those games? Just in case I do get back there in the next couple of days and they actually have anything left.

This is what I get for taking the holidays off from reading the forums. I just got the chance to go tonight and my store was cleaned out. The place holder plastic cards with the games tags were glaring at me as I walked by. Someone got to them all as the sale ones were pretty much the only ones gone.

They restocked on Suikoden Tactics at least so I finally got to picking that up.

My god, I've never seen so many DoS in my entire life. So beautiful...
 
I was only able to get Chibi Robo.

I've seen a billion of most of these at my TRU, but of course I go today and there's nothing.

My TRU is famous for never restocking the shelves, so I have asked them to check for games in the back with much success before. Today she refused to even look for me. She said if they were 19.99 or less (She saw my list where i had the clearance prices marked. In hindsight, that was a mistake) that they would be in a bin, and if they were gone, they were gone. I tried explaining that many of these are still marked MSRP 49.99, but she wasn't having any of it. What a lazy bitch.

I'll go back and ask somebody else tomorrow.
 
I'm going to be making a Kmart/TRU run in the next day or so (if the snow lets up in Denver at all). So, if anyone has something they want me to keep an eye out for, just let me know. I'll be picking up any DoS, Advance Wars or Animal Crossings they have, but outside of that, I'm open to suggestion.
 
If you cant find homes for a DoS, I have an empty space in my ds rack of games.

Stopped at the Melrose Park, IL TRU and snagged my Karaoke Revolution and Odama. Beautiful! :)

No DoS though, which bummed me out.
 
I know its not TRU related, but some of you may have luck with DoS at KMart. I happen to see one, and "bothered" the woman to open the case for her to tell me what the label said. ($34.99). I said I'd buy it anyways...turned out to be $9. I was elated.

Pretty slick, Ill have to check the kmarts near me.
 
Went to 2 on my way home..One was a fuck-ing joke. The place was a total mess..There was a "father" with his 2 kids which were actually taking games from the shelf whilst looking and dropping them on the floor. The kid was flipping them out and then kicking the game cases down the aisle.

When I finally managed to get ONE game price checked The guy didnt know how to do it cause it was a display box. I told him to look behind the glass for it, but All I got was a barely audible "Idunno" :bomb::bomb:
