Hell yeah man. I actually made a little mix to play in my car whenever I'm driving somewhere and I know I'm gonna hit heavy traffic. I included some of my favorite smoother, more laid back tracks from Mos and Talib i.e.:
Blackstar - Thieves in the Night, Respiration, Brown Skin Lady
Reflection Etenal - Love Language, Love Speakeasy
Kweli - Put it in the Air
Mos Def - May December
and some other songs

It's pretty much a perfect mix, and it does wonders to calm me down when I get all stressed out in traffic. Since we seem to think similarly, you should try it.
