Sonic Generations pre-order - $37.50, FS - PS3 Amazon (TRU Dead)

:eek: Wow, that's a great price. Hopefully Amazon PMs it. Just reported it. The game looks good so here's to hoping it... well, actually turns out good!
 
Can't wait for this game. Demo(for 2D at least) was fun. Colors, Rush, and the Advance games are what kept my love for Sonic alive.

I couldn't care less about MW3. Battlefield 3 looks awesome though. I don't think I'll get it though.

Just submitted the 360 version as well. Hoping they match, my 10yo son is a huge sonic fan.

I dislike these exclusive pre-order bonuses so much, no way I'm going to support that practice.
 
Come on Amazon, you matched the PS3 version but not 360???

I just submitted the price match for 360 as well, so let's wait and see.

It's a pinball game with a tiny board that will eventually be ~$2 paid DLC. I'm fine with passing on it for now.
 
I submitted the price for the 360 version to amazon. I'm holding out for Amazon, but if they dont act soon I'm buying from ToysrUs.com instead and canceling my Amazon preorder.

The framerate has been fixed greatly, as the demo at Gamefest showed, lukily.
This game is truly looking awesome. It could be the best Sonic game made since '98.

Was the button lag fixed? There was about a second's worth of lag between pressing a button and Sonic jumping in the PS3 demo from June.

Why does Amazon only price match for only the 360 or PS3, and never both, at least until the last minute? I hate how they do this!

If they don't add Release Date Delivery I'll be grabbing it at Gamestop. That bonus looks nice.

I'm really interested in this but also extremely wary of the dreaded Sonic cycle.

Probably will wait for the reviews and a BF sale. It looks awesome and I enjoyed the demo though.

How about the fact that it comes out on the EXACT same day as Uncharted 3 ... that can't end well either. :roll:
 
I am guessing the audience for Sonic (old school gamers and little kids) will still eat this game up if it actually turns out to be good. Of course the little kids will still love it, and this thing will sell like crazy through the Holidays.

Probably because the U.S. Sonic fans bitch about how much Sonic sucks now that they most likely think it won't sell (read comments on news articles about it or message boards and you'll see what I mean). And it's a damn shame because I'm a huge Sonic fan and would pay high dollar for that. :cry:

This is a great deal, but like I just said, I want the collector's edition.
