My friend and I have been having a heated debate for the last day or so. Who is faster? Sonic the Hedgehog or The Flash?

The Flash is the fastest by far. Sonic can't attain speeds near or beyond light.

Now if by "The Flash" you mean Dwyane Wade then Sonic wins.

Sonic could time travel! (Sonic CD) That's pretty fast.

Also if we're counting Super Sonic then it's all over.
 
The Flash. Sonics speed is proportional to his height, so he appears to be going at a faster speed than he actually is
 
Sonic is actually getting more votes in this thread then Superman in the other one. I guess no one likes Superman anymore.

PS I like your reasoning Ozzkev55. I couldn't have said it better myself.
 
I think Flash would have Sonic beat in an open area race, like across a football field, but I think that Sonic is the better jumper, which means he could take Flash in a race over rugged terrain where there are obstacles like spikes and lava.
