Sony 8gig Pro Duo $101.99 shipped! (BB)
Not a good deal at all.... Sandisk is way better than Sony anyway.
Seems like a pretty good deal to me... They had the same thing for $99.99 at BB Canada. Also, the Sandisk memory stick is co-developed by Sony so they're both pretty much the same quality... Plus the Sony one comes with the memory stick with the Memory Stick Duo adapter in case you need that for anything.

If anyone is interested, Staples has the Sandisk 4GB MS Pro Duo for $39.99 through tomorrow. I picked one up this morning.

i'm looking for a 1 gig for my camera- the 4 gig sounds alright, but the 8 gig is overkill. 8 gigs of porn on my psp's though.....hmmm....

I am glad you speak for everyone.

I would love to get a 8 GB card, but I got my 4 for Christmas. I can't justify a $100 purchase when next year this time they will probably be around half the cost. This is awesome for those who want to keep multiple games on a stick on the go without the need for having several UMDs.
I heard somewhere that most PSPs that have the 1.5 kernel can't detect 8 gigs...not sure if that's true.
People using custom firmware these days use M33 which is hybrid 3.xx/1.50 and has support for 8 gb.

i remember getting the 4gb sandis. at CC for 20 each few months back I still got one sealed (only one i kept for myself) since my grandfather sold our lake home there is really no reason to put movies on the PSP since i go nowhere : (

Hell ya, I already have 8 PS1 games on my 4 gig stick! The more room the better as far as I am concerned.
has the 16gig Pro Duo been released yet?
Don't know but I saw where the 32GB SD cards come out next month. AMAZING!

I use my PSP for things like music as well. I like having games, movies, and music all in one package. I see no reason to purchase and carry another piece of hardware that won't even have as nice of a screen. 8 gigs would be awesome as it would allow me to keep an entire season of whatever show I'm watching, along with some music, gamesaves, pictures, etc.
