Don't get me wrong, I love the savings I get from Amazon. But if they can't delivered what's promised, then I'd much rather get my items elsewhere when I need things on time(such as presents that are time sensitive).

Just picked up my Premium Edition this morning. Apparently only me and another person pre-ordered it for the XBox. Comes with comic/art book from DC Comics, a very compressed XL t-shirt, the bracket chart, a marker for the bracket chart, the premium content code for character customization which was a mere 108K download, and a regular copy of SC IV in a regular case.

Looks like GameCrazy's got a "regular" SC IV faceplate as well as the Yoda ones and even extra t-shirts. My GameCrazy is nice and small, so nobody steals thankfully. They offered to give me a t-shirt if I transferred the $5 to a new pre-order.

I've HEARD mixed reviews. As in, not only through press reviews but through regular people playing the game (friends, forum dwellers, etc)

I hear ya, their relationship with BradyGames is horrid and drives me crazy.
 
My GC gave me a Yoda Face plate, T-Shirt and offered me the Blue faceplate too but i declined. I just wanted the Yoda. Also, i love game its outstanding!
 
I got both because I had to wait longer for the PE to get in. Good news is that it looks like the PE will actually be limited (unliek so many other so called Limited Edition games these days).

From the looks of things the GC here got just enough of everything. They didn't have any extras so all I got was the Yoda Faceplate. SlaughterX what is that above the faceplates? Also my downloadable code did not work. Well it did but only saved 56k of the download of the 108k. I tried to redownload and now it does not work.
 
The code worked for me. I got an extra 2 achivements just for starting the game... The blue face plate is just a picture of the Soulcalibur and it has Seigfried on the top. Also the packaging for the PE is bilingual (French) just like the LE AC5 bundle was...

The more I think about it, the more angry I am!

Looks like I will NEVER EVER shop at Gamecrazy ever again. This is BS!!!

Their headquarters need to hear this BS!!! Customers like me reserve it for the Yoda faceplate, but just didn't get any!!!

I was in the same boat..

I was there hella early.. and I got both a yoda and a green.

Was well worth it.. frustrations aside..

Seriously though, call corporate and let them know.

Picked up the limited edition at BB...they went in the back and went through the boxes that had just been delivered which was very cool. Rang up for $69.99 just like the website had and they took the coupon that expired yesterday! Plus they gave me Blast Works for the Wii for $9 even though the fixed the price in the system back to $19.99! I was totally expecting to get hosed today.
 
just in case anyone is wondering, I was able to do the BB.com $69.99 Premium version for in store pickup just now. Earlier it was not working for in store pickup (shwoed up as "unavailable") but recently it showed up as available and I ordered and will soon go grab it along with a calander.
 
My GameStop didn't get the preorder keychains, at all. I'm spending the next few days bitching at corporate.

LE code - Unlocks outfits, some suits and stuff for male chars I believe, and what seems to be schoolgirl/secretary/maid outfits for female chars in character creation mode.
 
So is the PE actually going to be limited? Cause it seems like everywhere is sold out online already, of the PS3 version at least. Makes me glad I preordered.

Yes, gamestop got them a long time ago... maybe 3 -4 weeks ago. They probably hoarded them.

My PE of the PS3 version sadly did not come with the marker lol. ; ; I should totally return it just because of that...not. :D
 
No keychain from Gamestop either. They said they didn't know anything about them and thought I was confusing the SOCOM promo (I don't even have a PS3 for SOCOM wtf). Shame, but the game is pretty on my 42" woooooooo!!

Happens every time at Gamestop, if I didn't want the LE I would not have even bothered. Keep thinking that someday a LE will actually be limited, so I fall for it.

Either they actually do not get the extras, or some douche bag employee takes them.

To my surpise, my local GC had both faceplates at lunch today. To my bigger surpise, I chose the blue one instead. I just thought the Yoda one was kinda ugly. I hope I don't regret not picking that one up. Hopefully the blue ones go for a lot on ebay as well.

My Gamestop claimed that the keychain will be in on Friday and that anyone with a preorder can bring in their receipt for the keychain.

actually it's only about $20 for the extras, and for those that went to best buy $10
 
I actually liked the shirt, tin, and slipcase. The so called art book was ass. Overall though, I'm happy with it. If you figure a shirt is normally around 12. Not too bad IMHO.

Hmm I'll have to follow up with mine. Is there a link to anything on their web site stating the deal with the keychain? I couldn't find one as it seems they've removed pre-order info. Just want to print something out so I can show it to them, besides the picture on the first page of this thread.

I picked up the LE and am a bit disappointed with it, but it was all paid for by trade ins anyways ($10 bonus for 2 trade in deal) so I'll get over it.
