Soylent Brown is a reality. Japan scientist synthesizes meat from human feces...

I wonder if the "meat" degrades over time as it is "recycled."

Ex: Man poops. The poop is made into meat. Man eats meat. Man poops again. Poop is made into meat again... etc...

Is this an infinite loop where we will eat our own shit for eternity? Will the meat-poop eventually degrade, like when a copy of a copy is made? Will our firm poop-meat patties eventually become sloppy, mushy meat pancakes? I WANT TO KNOW!!!

I mean, being serious, cows, pigs, chickens, sheep, fish.....etc....aren't like video games processed in a clean factory. They are living animals. When you eat "fillet mignon", you are not eating a processed industrial item. They skin a cow (etc.), probably after it is beheaded, whereupon (I love words like that) it is carefully disassembled into various cuts of product. I understand why people (I am one) find this (shitburgers) distasteful, but really, we butcher living, breathing, cutesy creatures by the millions every day the Earth completes a rotation, and we consider these things packaged items, much like pop (soda to some), video games (games to some), and chewing gum. And I'm all out of gum....I mean ideas.

Edit: So consider shit....it's what's for dinner. I only hope they can do something similar for Social Security, since I've been paying it since 1988 or something.

I think on Voyager they had replicator rations, and they explained at some point that the replicator used water. so maybe its not the full poo, but they most likely did squeeze all the moisture out of the waste before it was jettisoned into space.

Which would explain why the entire quadrant was out to destroy the Voyager.
Flying all over the place, spewing dry shit everywhere while everyone else just recycled it.

I'd have to say that this and the fact that the OP put the "Used" graphic on the post are the best things in the thread
