Spring Update 08 **May Fools No Update >_>**
Installs on the 360 harddrive? No Bueno.
That's why it's optional. If it ends up being true (more than likely well) I'll be picking up a 120GB HDD.

I'm

" 14. Long descriptions of items on Marketplace can be scrolled using right stick."
It should've been like that awhile ago. I hate having to wait 1 minute to read the whole thing.
So why exactly do people think that this is official?
Has there ever been an instance where the "leaked list" was legit? This happens every time, and from what I recall every time it turns out to be fake.

Allowing you to remove your CC info? Hard drive installs? Smells like ultra-bullshit to me. Hope I'm wrong.

When will there be a update to remove the trial arcade games? I know that now when you play trial arcade games they dont show up but all the others before that still there.
Still no clan support?
That is an interesting list, but the lack of clan support also bothers me.

If memory serves me correctly, the previous update's leaked list turned out to be false.
Take this list with the appropriate amount of sodium.

I just hope this is legit so I can get all those launch era Arcade trials off my gamercard.

I kinda wish they had an A-Z sort for music though. On the PS3 too. I hate having to scroll for 5 minutes just to listen to any band who has the misfortune of being alphabetically positioned at the bottom of a list of a couple hundred artists. The music library dash should use that same "twist menu" the remodeled Marketplace uses. Left/right to pick the letter of the band you want, up/down to find it quicker within the chunk of bands sharing the same first letter in the name. Both systems are a chore when linked to Windows Media Player over a router. The PS3 being the worst of the two.

Things that lead me to believe this list is false.

#1 - The formatting. Usually, it's just a laundry list, never sorted

#2 - "Support for titles to store installation data on Storage Device for faster loading."
- Defeats the whole point of the core, doesn't it. It's against Microsoft's whole premise of the core, and undermining sales isn't their goal.

#3 - "Display random tips to replace static text on Xbox LIVE and Games blades.
- And replace those lovely ads? NEVER!

#4 - "Option to automatically associate new DRM to items downloaded for free."
- Again...defeats the premise of using something Microsoft spends money on. In this case, "great" customer service.

And the big one...

#5 - "Calibration options for motion sensor devices."
- Do I need to say anything more?

I like the list but I think it is just a wish list.

I certainly wish I could disable the notifications of people logging on, group chat would be good to.

I was just going to point this one out.
Doesnt the xblive camera detect motion?
Yes but it isn't very good or the developers haven't really put in the time to make it really work.

This is totally a wishlist, I mean M$ would only give us half of whats on this list in one update and save the rest for the next. I think a Fall Update, close to the holiday season, would get the most features and tweaks.

It sounds more like a want list than an actual update. I can't imagine them doing so many drastic changes at once. Optional game installs to the HDD would put it on par with the PS3; patches for installing already released 360 games would awesome.
Doesnt the xblive camera detect motion?
That's most likely what it's referring to, since the next item on the list transitions to the Vision cam. My guess is this feature (if the list is even remotely true) would be comparable to something like standard flight stick calibration tools where you aim at the corners than aim at the center to determine a bounding box.

Normally no, but I would think Microsoft would be ready to do something massive to take the appeal away from Playstation Home. They have to make the dash twice as appealing since there's no virtual world to function as a GUI.
I just want buddy lists, so I can have friends, CAGs and randoms.
That's a good idea. I only want certain people to show up in the friend count when I press the guide button. If you add a bunch of random people to your buddy list the friend count number becomes meaningless because there will always be like 50 people online at any given time.

From a "I really want a lot of stuff!" consumer standpoint I agree, but from Microsoft's standpoint...I doubt they care much. They're still selling consoles and will continue to regardless of what Home does.

Plus, even if you are right, I'd guess they would wait until after Home is out (or if it takes a really long time to come out, then the Fall update) before they try to combat it.
expand the list to 200 people or even just 10 more slots and I'm happy.
It's not technically possible for them to expand the friends list at this point. It's basically built into the infrastructure of Xbox live and can't be changed.

that's what I remember hearing, but I'm sure they could pull it off if they invested enough time. If anything, just seperate the database of the other 100 friends onto something entirely different but somehow have your account access the information.

It's likely that the limit is built into the original Xbox Live games, so the list will stay at 100 for as long as you can play Xbox 1 games on Xbox Live.

Really the best thing to do would be to have groups like on Steam, let people create and (or several people) basically be in charge of a huge friends list. Some groups could have open membership, while others could require a password or approval.

I wonder if that'll be able to change with their next console. God, I hope so.

Yeah, I finally hit the limit/filled my list and need more space.
