wow i will say... this is the hardest game to pricematch ever because it's retailed at 49.99 and the ad says 19.99. I went to BB and tried pricematching, but the manager gave me fuking bs and said that they can't pricematch it that low and that its not a nationwide store or some sh!t, and i asked her if i can try to buy it at the cashier and this is what really pissed me off, she said "Oh well im going to notify them not to let you buy it for 20 dollars so i left yelling out fatas b!tch as i left the store loud enough so that she can hear.went to CC across the street, the guy said "can i see the ad" I hesitated and he said "Dont worry ill still give it to you for 20 dollars," so i gave it to him and he came back and said he called and that it was a price error. I was even more pissed. Finally, I went to wal-mart being complete pissed off, after the employee scans it and says "I'll have to check with the manager because it's 19.99. So I wait and they take about 10 minutes to find the manager at the cashiers. The manager at the cashier finds another manager (some 60 year old) and tries to make up some bs saying that the ad says you have to purchase an xbox to get fightnight2 for 19.99. I tell her that's just the section. She then tells me "Well it doesn't state the date of how long this goes for" I then turn it to the front and see where it says something all sales are good till march 27th.. so she says "Ok, I'll have to see the electronics manager then." She then tells me in the middle of the walk to the manager that pricematch policy is only 5-10 dollars within MSRP. At this point I knew she was pulling sh!t out of her ass. I tell her i don't know of any policy stating the limit on pricematch for competitor prices and ask her if I can see the policy. She then gives me a dirty look and continues walking to the electronics manager. He tells her "just give it to him this time and tell him next time we don't pricematch gamecrazy." I finally bought it and the total came out to be 21.64.... I say to myself that I fina-shaq-fuin got this game after 2 hours wasted... but i guess 20 dollars is a steal...Called up local gamerush and they said they'd give 40 dollars for this game... Lesson learned... employees really pull sh!t out of their ass when they think your stupid so just keep arguing with the managers... this was a pain in the ass I had almost given up after going through 2 cashier employees and 3 managers for different departments...sorry for all the spelling errors i'm just so pissed.
I understand your frustration with customer service folks making up policies on the spot. It pieves me, too... But you went through all that trouble just to sell it to Gamerush?
