it is 3v3 and in any multi game ensuring your zerg players make it to mid game where they make the most impact is a great way to go. you say he didn't build any spine crawlers which makes it sound like you expected him to be able to fend off a rush alone in a 3v3 game with spine crawlers. then it sounds like they did the same to your other ally which means you either refused to help or were doing some build where you weren't in the position to send units. if thats the case you're doing 3v3 wrong. it sounds like your entire team was bad so its not all your fault, but then you pull out the "1v1 fgt lez go" so either way you're still a douche.
Untrue. My Best Team Game Ever™ (a 2v2 with my zerg practice partner) was one where I let him die right off the bat to a double 8pool with offensive spines. He knew I'd let him die. Letting him die was good for both of us, and not just because he got to spend the rest of the game microing stalkers, which is incredibly

ing fun.
When the enemy rushes you, they're trading economy (and future army strength) for army and a solid timing. This is doubly potent in team games, where the united army can
crush its weight in disconnected armies. In my case, if I had immediately 1Aed my zealots to my teammate's base, I'd have run into a bunch of lings with spines after they had already done most of their damage to my teammate in a 2v1 situation, and then they would just 2v1 me. So I sat and waited and built up because I had a far better economy than both of them (8pool ling/spine rush is not exactly a far-thinking plan), gave my deadas

teammate control over my shit (he had tossed me all his extra resources as soon as he had lost all his drones), and proceeded to drop a pair of zerg bases, myself. A massive game followed, and "we" eventually won (with the other zerg players rather confused as to how I had as many god damn stalkers as I did).
If Kain sent his units to go help his teammate, then he could at best expect a 2v3 situation, which is still

ing Bad™. Sit back, ease up on worker production (you should already have a strong worker lead over rushing enemies, anyway), and spam out as many god damn units as you can (or get that critical piece of tech out as fast as you can, if that's your thing - banshee cloak, DTs, burrow for roaches... any of those things would work in that sort of situation). Then, as your army starts to overtake theirs and they're getting economically back on track, you do your work.
Of course, in that situation, you want your second teammate not to totally die, too. Helps when everyone's on the same page about that stuff. 3v1 is kinda pushing it, unless he does a
lot of damage on the way down.
