This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

Thanks guys. I'll look into both see which I like the best... I'm sitting on 1343 cards that need to be idled (not to mention all that need to be listed sitting in inventory) so my biggest concern is I just see a better chance of my phone being stolen than someone breaking into my house.

so what's the verdict if you have 100+ cards to list?

WinAuth or Steam Desktop Authenticator?

I have to remove my mobile authenticator for either one to work right?

 
They both have an option to pull you data from the phone but Winauth requires you to be rooted from what I can tell and while SDA doesn't it couldn't get that option to work for me.

What I did was set the Steam guard back to email based then setup Steam Desktop Authenticator as the new 'mobile device'.

If you setup SDA first Win Auth can pull from it so you can try out both pretty easily that way.

As long as you set your Steam Guard to email verification and don't turn it off completely when setting up one of those programs as new you won't have any waiting periods.

When you refer to rooting, is it because you're running this from a Windows Phone??? Ewwwwww....(COME AT ME, BRO!!!)

I'm actually running WinAuth from my Win7 desktop....Get sold messages popping up from my system tray, etc.

I still want to try out Steam Desktop Auth....

Some more info:  The frame rate is pretty good...probably only need 5VRAMZ  and a 1.8 Jigawatt CPV.....
 
I'll play it for a few days and see if it holds my interest...

The mods only do anything if someone complains. However it's generally not a good idea to summon them as you never quite know what they will so. They could nuke pages of unrelated posts or even ban the person who called them.

So seriously people, settle shit on your own or learn to ignore people, which admittedly kind of sucks when people keep quoting them but still.

There's a hipster pizza place doing pizzas for $3.14 today. I'd rather stock up on hipster pizza than buy from Domino's all week.

A place called Blaze, for anyone that cares.

I actually do like FF13, even despite its linearity + lack of towns.

I just feel it takes a few hours before the combat & gameplay actually gets good. The story + character stuff is fine - sure, at times it gets over-the-top, ridiculous, and cheesy - but that's par for the course with most Square Enix FF games anyways.

IMHO...reading all the Codex stuff - the datalogs, background, jargon/terms, summaries, and all of that stuff - is essential to put everything into perspective + get the most out of the game's story, characters, plot, and to understand the jargon/terms the game constantly bombards you with.

 
So since Neuro ain't got time fo dat anymore, maybe we should start a new thread so someone can update the OP.

I nominate that MusePrime guy who feels the need to post a new thread for every PC deal.

Speaking of Kansas City, I just tried two beers from Boulevard Brewing Co. last night. Both from the Smokestack Series: The Calling and Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale.

I tried the Tank 7 first and it was pretty good. It had a lemon, yeasty, peppery aroma with a good citrus (lemon, grapefruit), slight bitterness, some smokiness, and a funky bready taste. A fairly light and aromatic Belgian style ale at 8.5% ABV. Seems like it would be good paired with a chicken sandwich with garlic herb fries.

Next I had The Calling, an IPA with a good citrus and tropical fruit aroma. I love IPAs and this beer was very good. Hoppy (75 IBUs), it starts with a fruity citrus hop flavor and ended with a dry pine hop taste that was good but not lingering. Pretty well balanced and also 8.5% ABV. Mmm.

Seems like I missed the drama last night while treating my liver to some hipster craft beers.

I freaking love this place... Their pizza's okay....but the blood orange lemonade that they have. Oh I love the stupid drink it's so damn good. This week is def gonna be a dominos week though.

I can't. I'm currently romancing the mom in Rune Factory 4 only to find out she's not eligible but her little girl is which made me feel like a creepy pedo so I moved on to another girl who is crazy but likes being a detective. I'll give her a good seek n find if you know what I mean.

Don't take fuck so serious. Just sayin'. You're going to hurt yourself that way. Course if it's constipation that's got you cranky, they make pills for that now.

I barely ever eat pizza, but when I do I kind of sort of enjoy Uncle Maddio's. It's like subway for pizza, plus they have Red Oak on tap and delicious chocolate chip cookies. Brixx is also passable mostly because they have a bunch of dope beers on tap. Other than those 2 and Gianno's(which also has Red Oak on tap), I pretty much avoid what may be the most overrated food ever.

I never rode the SLUT. I saw her crossing the street a few times, but she seemed empty and drifting to places I didn't really need to go. I did ride the equally pointless Monorail a few times though.

The SLUT gets ridden quite frequently now, but mostly by Amazonians.
