I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

I'm assuming you still find it unbelievable that a person could walk away from a computer and that another person could walk into the room and sabotage it when you aren't looking? Is that it?

I'll admit I've been a dickish jackass from time to time but I'm not about to just salt the earth and destroy whatever good reputation and possible friendships I may have made here for no reason.

I don't like the drama. You brought it all up again. I would rather that the whole affair had never happened. I truly apologize for everything and if I could do something to make up for it I would but I don't know what to do to fix this situation and don't really believe that a second chance is possible. The internet is just too unforgiving. I just want to post without all this being brought up each and every time.

It seems the people who have internet caps are not going to like what's happening with Steam. It's deleting the _CommonRedist folders from all games installed and forcing people to redownload them. If you have a lot of games installed this could mean a large amount of data being redownloaded. For me it's over 40 GBs.

Yeah I'm not having that problem, but I have the beta client installed so that may be why? Are you using the beta or non-beta?

Non beta. I used to have beta but decided to no longer use beta updates after the issue that came up with Disgaea.

One thing you could do temporarily is limit updates to the middle of the night or some other time when your computer is off/asleep. I usually delete the redist folders after the game is installed and all these updates are showing up as 0 bytes for me.

And once the 0 bytes are done they will come back again as 100mb - 200mb each.

According to some this process has happened multiple times already.

 
Some games stayed 0 bytes for me. Some didn't. About 1gb total for the 8 things I have installed.
