This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

Are international ebay sellers safe / legit when it comes to selling region-free steam keys? Thinking of buying (see link) but have no experience with this kind of thing. I bought the base version of the game during the summer sale. Thanks.

Go on Steamgifts and you'll find quite a few traders/sellers with high feedback that will sell it to you around this price and don't require a blood sample or drivers license/passport to do so. They'll buy you the game directly on Steam for their price. There's two offhand that I buy from at times and are super-reliable and very fair, Wolfystein and mrpo0901.

Notably, the majority of places that do ask for this type of "verification" tend to be the grey market sellers and its supposedly to prevent chargebacks. Considering the seller's feedback, its probably not a risk in terms of not getting the game (plus its Ebay so you're protected) but source of their keys is questionable.

They list a German address as the seller address, but the secondary address is in Hong Kong, which leads to this http://gk4.me/en/, a grey market seller.

I would appreciate a Superfight key.....I registered and no matter what I get the no keys.....so kind of annoying.

Edit: Thanks MysterD

I have good news. That gum you like is going to come back in style by the time NMS finally comes out!

I found a better option for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Delivery Method:

We provide two methods to activate the game:

 1. You send us your steam account name and password, we log with your account and activate game. We promise that, we don’t take or use anything of your account. You can also make a new steam account and we activate the game on it.
 2. We make a new steam account and activate the game on it, then we send account name, password and email data to you, you can change all data and it’s belong to you in the future.
99.1% positive feedback!!!!

(added YCS just in case anyone thinks I'm serious :p)

It would be better to wait for a discount on the Witcher 3 Season Pass. That Ebay price is actually higher than the base price, based on my location.

What is this SUPERFIGHT I see everyone playing
Its some game no one has played that was given for free last night. It looks like a card game type of thing.

No bother to me. I'm still looking forward to it. 3 days isn't going to kill that. The people flipping out about it will completely forget about it on release. The rest of the world had to wait til the 12th anyway. If it was 3 more weeks, yeah then I can see a reason to be up in arms. GTA V PC was delayed twice for significant lengths of time, it didnt matter on release day.

It'd be interesting to know the real reason as I highly doubt 3 days will make that big of a difference in terms of functionality/patches/debugging. I imagine it has to do with legalese and Id not be surprised if Valve encouraged making it simultaneous as when they have regional timed releases VPN use becomes rampant to unlock games early and a game of this notoriety would push many who normally wouldnt to do so. Sony obviously could be to blame as well.

The season pass has yet to see a discount of any significance since release. The base is almost always discounted somewhere. The Ebay price is actually lower in USD. Its about $20 US, but I wouldn't buy from them with their stupid rules.

I was curious as to whether this was even allowed on Ebay (asking for ID), and apparently its not

Question about the same seller.

It actually is best played on Twitch or at the very least on Discord, which is part of the reason I was hesitant to buy it. Everyone draws a set of cards and then you have to argue for your cards as the ones that would win the fight.

Is it safe to assume that there won't be any more SUPERFIGHT keys from the Skybound site? I signed up but it's showing no codes. :(

I have some DLC code from the beta and I can't even use it yet. haha

Just saw a spot for GTAV on clearance at Wal-Mart for $20 but they were all sold out. Its not quite foxhacks border jumping Divinity:OS but it's something.

Best deal I've heard about w/ GTA5 PC since D2D had that $20 deal on it.

($40 on sale + 50% off Valentine's Day 2016 promo code only = $20)

Really it's arguing who will win....what type of poop game is this! I was expecting Superfight to be a game where you have cards worth so much power and more power wins....not the Cards Against Humanity I choose whatever I want. Ugg....I will try it sometime at least....but I dislike those non-game type card/board games.

My thoughts exactly.

Debate Class: The Game

My Steam Top 10 since I'm late to the game as always:

The Binding of Isaac
93 hrs on record

Borderlands 2
90 hrs on record

Borderlands
84 hrs on record

Killing Floor
77 hrs on record

Enter the Gungeon
70 hrs on record

Dungeons of Dredmor
61 hrs on record

Risk of Rain
49 hrs on record

Dead Island
46 hrs on record

Darkest Dungeon
41 hrs on record

Team Fortress 2
38 hrs on record

So a bunch of roguelikes and Dead Island, which I co-oped with some buddies. Wasn't horrible but not beating that game again. Borderlands 1 and 2 were also co-op games, and pretty decent overall though I never finished off all the DLC (beat 2 of each game I believe).

I've got a few stores near me showing it in stock for $20. I bought it for that price from D2D months back though so I can stay home.

It's definitely not Steam.

First to quote this gets COD BLOPs 3 Multiplayer Steam Key. Trying to give it away in case someone wants to upgrade since I don't want it.

Edit: Gone!

Man, I'm so far behind on this thread. Did I miss anything good in the past 12 days? I'm entirely too lazy to catch up on 40+ pages of discussions on shoes, pizza, bad devs, gleam giveaways, shady sites, mentions of tebow, and hardware talk.

But then again, I occasionally do enjoy a good dissertation on pizza and shoes.
