I am sincerely surprised that MysterD hasn't managed to run through his upload space limit yet on Steam. He takes 300 screenshots of every game he plays and uploads them all. Now that I think about it, I'm also surprised he hasn't burned through his data limit either
[Pics of MysterD with 145 screens of DE: MD, Jacksonville fan reaction, Greatest CAG Villain Poll & someone from CW crying]
In the old days, I was real selective about the screenies I put up b/c I didn't have as much Steam-space to upload to. Now w/ that number exploding, with now 14GB of space - why the hell not? I just upload 'em all. [shrug]
And those scratching their heads over the number of screens I'm posting for Deus Ex: MD of late - keep in mind, that's just for the DLC's that I'm working on. And I ain't even finished A Criminal Past DLC yet.
Right now, I have Comcast Blast and I still have no data limit. Waiting on the notice for that to change. Always keeping my eyes peeled, just in case things do change.
EDIT:
For what it's worth, my i7-860 processor is eight years old.
That's b/c you have a i7, though. I have a i7 950 - and that still holds up pretty good. i7's of a generation are usually pretty strong. And Intel really hasn't been pushing their CPU's super-hard because they really ain't had competition from AMD until maybe Ryzen. They (Intel) have been refining their CPU's for years w/ a bit better performance and often not giving off as much heat w/ each generation.
Even when running a GTX 970, 16 GB RAM, W7 64-bit with my i7 950 here - 1440p on Medium or above at 30FPS, 45FPS, or 60FPS on most games here.
EDIT 2:
That's exactly what CAG's greatest villain would say!
Damn right!
I definitely am a Villain: going against the CAG Grain here by NOT "Fakeying" the "CAG Bro" Games; play mostly SP portions of games; trying to stick with 75% off or better philosophy (that doesn't always work, though); constantly complain about DRM; complain about console games that are not getting PC versions; haven't owned a console since PSX1; MMO's that can be played SP-style not later getting offline modes when they have no players or are about to pull the online-plug; make ultra-long-winded posts like this on CAG; etc etc.
EDIT 3:
In general, profit margins are razor thin when it comes to PC hardware. It's uncommon to see a discount as high as 33% on a pre-built from Asus. Hard to tell if it is Asus's ROG brand. If it is then the motherboard should be high quality. Don't worry about the processor...you'll be good for a while. The 1070 is what makes this a deal and I would be all over it myself but...I live in Canada. Oh and You'll want to grab an SSD as well (for the OS and games) if you don't already have one.
Are graphics cards such as the 1070 still being mined & overpriced right now?
