I just don't buy much from Amazon anymore for stuff I need shipped, to really go Prime. Even when Tony was around, still buying digital + retail games like crazy; and some hardware here + there.

Maybe if they came up w/ Prime years ago, I would've been like: "All aboard!"

If Amazon actually wants me to stream stuff, they should make an Android TV compatible streaming app so I could actually use the service. Instead, they want me to buy their Fire stick which is me paying $40 for the privilege of streaming Prime plus a handful of pre-loaded apps available for free from Google Play anyway. Oh, and an extra HDMI port used just for Amazon Prime streaming.

I use a roku for my amazon, youtube, netflix, hulu, WWE network, and a few other free apps steaming.

I think the main TV has an app for it too but the main roku is hooked up to it so I just use it instead of the smart TV functions.

Sure, but my smart TV already has Youtube, Netflix, Hulu, Vudu, etc installed on it. Plus they're all installed directly on the television and the data comes through an Ethernet cable rather than using an HDMI port on wireless streaming. The only thing I'd be plugging a stick in for is Amazon Prime and that's only because Amazon refuses to release a standard Android app because they want people to purchase their hardware. I mean "Own two different copies of the Pandora app!" isn't much of a draw.

Anyway, my point is just that Amazon is constantly nagging me to stream videos (every time I'm using the site, I get a box letting me know about it) and I'm like "Bitch, maybe if you'd just let me stream the shit on my TV like everyone else does then I would do it."

-Final Fantasy 14: Stormblood (windows version)

-Dark Souls 2 (humble monthly)

I'm back to playing FF14 after a two year hiatus and it feels good to be casual again.  Have to play through all of the Heavensward main scenario before I can even get to Stormblood though. Anyone on Balmung?

That price increase on Shadow of Mordor is CRIMINAL I tell you $4.00 is just ridiculous, anyone who missed out on getting it during the summer sale should feel bad.

I had a bunch of DLC and some packs in my cart that I deleted this morning when I realized I had actually managed to dig to the deepest most rotten depths of my Gabenwallet and was about to spend enough to allow the stench of my hoard to reach my CC which made me shudder in horror.  So I had to remove some stuff.  Still I think this was the final body count:

Just wanted to say I had a ton of fun too. I think I got overconfident with the group when we did Burnt Offerings on Hard and thought that we could tackle anything with our 4 man crew when Jimbo and Parallacks haven't played enough to unlock gear or guns to help them out. Still, think we did pretty well on Hard for two vets and two grunts. Hopefully we can schedule that again and I can make time to keep grinding out and get more unlocks.

The sale is over and I ended up with about $1.50 profit after laundering the cards, completing the Telltale pack, and buying up the event's icons and BGs.

I only spent $4ish buying Mortal Kombat XL from Gamersgate. Gotta love regional price shenanigans.

Burnt Offerings is just an easy mission, even on hard. No real waves or objectives you need to defend or anything, just kill some dudes and blow up the tanks. In retrospect, we probably should have dialed the failed missions back to Normal but whatever -- was still fun.

Right after you left, Parallacks bought an accessory crate and got a scope for his blunderbuss which still makes me laugh.

Yeah, mine runs on Android TV (by Google) and they don't have one for that. It's not really a big deal for me since I don't watch a lot of TV anyway -- and I suppose that, with Kodi, it's somewhat moot anyway if I really DID want to watch something. I just roll my eyes when Amazon is all "Why won't you watch our Prime videos? *sad tear*" and I'm thinking "Because you won't let me!"

I have a Roku Smart TV and it has Amazon video. I think the issue is that Amazon seems to make it available for Roku TVs and Samsung TVs (because Samsung TVs have their own Samsung interface) but not Android TVs.

Also, tonight we're going to give Prop Hunt mode a try in Team Fortress 2 so if anyone wants to join make sure you have the 50 billion GBs of updates DLed. We'll have to play public servers but there should be empty ones if we have enough people.
