soo i havent bought a monitor in about a decade so i dont know if this is common knowledge but. psa: not every computer monitor has hdmi ports. and now i have to head back to staples to return my birthday gift to myself *headdesk*
What's wrong with using a DVI-HDMI cable? They are like $3 at Walmart. It's what I use.

Compiled a list of all GOG games that aren't available on Steam:

https://www.gog.com/mix/gog_exclusives_games_not_available_on_steam

Let me know if you think anything is wrong and don't forget to like, comment and subscribe!
Compare your list with this one and make sure you haven't missed any:

https://www.gog.com/mix/games_not_available_on_steam

Another helpful option to consider: point out which games aren't on Steam but available on Uplay or Origin.

Thanks for the list. It's nice to have one that's maintained by a CAG.

Why is the Gamestop website so shitty?
B/c it's GameStop. Everything surrounding that place has always been that way, more or less.

EDIT:

Did you buy an old monitor?

Or do you have a new higher-end one w/ DisplayPort?

I did notice that list had a few things out of date. Also mine is done in order of new to old so the newest GOG releases are at the top.

Re TSB: Glad I never checked out on that Fanatical "Nemesis" bundle.

Re QB: It *actually* a game that I've wanted to buy for around $15 so I may re-up early this month. (ITAD says it was sub $15 once, but I must have missed it.)

Pretty solid headliner games for next monthly. Kicking myself, though for buying Nex Machina during the Thanksgiving sale. My sacrifice = your gain*.

*If you are a monthly subscriber.

Chrono games are Crown Champion: Legends of the Arena (3500) Freaking Meatbags (3000) and Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 (10000)

I bought QB Timeless Edition (with a Steam key inside) at retail from a local WalMart's for $10 on clearance.

Yeah, there's a bunch of DLC for it as well. I've played around with 2014 a little and 2015 seems like it would be actually good, but I think I'll keep waiting.

Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 for 10k coins fits the definition of highway robbery in every possible way.  :speaktothehand:

Plus I already own it.

Agreed, 10k is sorta nuts. Maybe they are upping the amount to clear out some people's coins?

On the other hand, 3k for Freaking Meatbags is cheap enough for me to bite.

Just think, if you didn't pay full price for IndieGala bundles and buy bundle games for $10 you would be able to afford a used xbox one to play Red Dead Redemption already!

And Fable 2, Halo series, Gears of War series - that's just for starters.

Oh, and any other XB games not on PC.

Most days: I already have this Chrono game.  Put up something I don't have so I can actually spend my coins.

Today: I don't have this game and its somewhat interesting, but no way am I spending that many coins on it.

I think that for me the most interesting metric was the price/hour calculations. I mean, it doesn't include DLC so it's a bit skewed, but still. EU4 at the top with 4 cents an hour. Skyrim at 6 cents an hour. Dungeons Defenders doesn't count since I'd leave it idle overnight. GTA4/5 at 18/16 cents per hour, respectively. Fallout 4 at 14 cents an hour.

That is based on current price and total hours. I sure as hell didn't pay $19.99 for Torchlight 2, $9.99 for Risk of Rain, etc, which drops the price / hour by a factor of 4 and 10+ on those two titles.

It's interesting how my games owned is 1988 here, which is probably counting all the games no longer on Steam (i.e. such as Digital Homicide stuff) since Steam changed how they actually count games.

Steam on my profile page says I own 1916 games.

Same. I do wish I could edit the price (like add in the cost of DLC I own and the actually price I paid.) Anyhow, my "Skyrim" is Tom Clancy's The Division at six cents an hour too.

This is an EXTREMELY limited beta that only includes 5 events and no free-roam. The new park/grind physics are a massive improvement, and the olympic style downhill racing does an acceptable job of recreating the sense of speed. Also seems to be some new snow animation in the deep powder which looks terrific, although that is offset by the atrocious pink cherry trees in certain parts of the region.

Looking forward to exploring more on Tuesday.

This steam account calculator stuff is cool and all but it's really not too interesting until somebody can make one that tracks down the price you purchased things at that weren't purchased through steam. None of the stats really mean anything otherwise.
