This thread will attempt to provide a place to discuss past/present/future PC gaming deals. While mainly focusing on Steam games, any standout sales may also be presented. I will not be updating every Daily/Weekly/etc. sale. The tools to help individuals become a smarter shopper will be provided below.

See this POST for links to store sale pages, threads of interest and other tools to help you become a more informed PC game shopper.

CdKeys has a Xmas sale going on right now with some decent deals.  Some that stood out to me are Fallout 4 goty for $13, Fallout 4 for $6.60, Doom for $7.89, Dishonored 2 for $5.89 and Injustice 2 Ultimate for $6.29 plus a bunch of other stuff and I have no idea if there is a working coupon.  Had my eye on Dishonored 2 for awhile and this is easily the best price I've seen for it.

I was in for Injustice 2 Ultimate, but they're out of stock. :(

As NORAD tracks Santa they inadvertently fired a few missiles at his sled and some Steam keys have fallen to the Earth. I have a bunch of spare keys from various Humbles as listed below. Quote which ones you want and/or send me a PM (I'm 99% certain they work/have not been redeemed). Preference, of course, is to regular/long-time CAG'ers and denizens of the Steam/Humble threads. I'll try to keep the list updated although I'll probably be logging off in about four hours but will check back again tomorrow.
Can I get Outlast 2 if it's still available? Thanks!

And Merry Christmas to everyone in the thread. Hope you have a great day today!

NBA Playgrounds
Would like to get that one, if it's still kicking around!

Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

And Merry X-Mas & Happy Holidays!!! :)

If still available

first choice would be Aviary Attorney, if gone second choice would be Seasons After Fall. Thank you Mooby. If anybody else wants them please let them have it first.

Thank you Santa Mooby!

Merry Christmas to all.  Happy holidays.  I hope everybody has a fantastic new year.

May our deals be great, frustrations low, framerates high with plenty of hertz Gynyc or Freesync.  May love, joy and laughter be part of each day.

**

If you are in U.S.A., may you recover from the stock market plunge and not have to rely on Gaben bucks to buy games.

Mooby did you get a PSU set? Two more really good deals:

EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G3 750W 80 Plus Gold Modular - $60 after rebate, discussion on reddit

Seasonic FOCUS Plus Series SSR-750FX 750W 80+ Gold Full Modular - $60 after rebate

Both are fully modular so you can add custom RGB sleeves to your cables.
Yeah I got the EVGA listed in the first link. At this point I'm just waiting for the Focus Mini case to come back in stock at Amazon so I can order from there versus New Egg. Also deciding between 3 and 5 RGB fans. The two extra fans add literally nothing cooling performance wise but do I really want to leave the top fan ports bereft of RGB goodness?

Also it's only $15ish more for two additional fans -- $7.50 each isn't a bad deal.

Do you still have Splasher and Streets of Rage? If so, could I have them please?

Thanks for sharing!

I might be the only one that cares about this, but I just recently realized there was a spiritual successor to Marble Blast Ultra with some of the same dev members, it's called Marble It Up. It's not a great deal currently, but it's 20% off. Really good game if you enjoyed Marble Blast Ultra or the old Marble Blast games. They're some of, if not the best marble games of all time. Anyway, I'd suggest buying it if you're a fan of marble games.

Only thing that sucks is it doesn't include multiplayer, but it's planned to be added in 2019.

Going to bump this

ORIGINAL MESSAGE FOLLOWS:

Hey guys, I don't really have the energy for the kinds of mind games and contests I used to cook up, so we'll just call this a 12 Days of Christmas deal that I'm starting on December 22 because I felt like it. I'm just going to randomly give away some stuff from my spreadsheet every so often so just pop into this thread when you have a chance to see whether I've edited this post.

It may take me anywhere from a few minutes to half a day to respond, especially on the BIG DAY, so be patient. Usual rules apply: PM, regulars get preference, otherwise it's first come, first served. If anything doesn't get selected in a day, I'll replace it with something else.

Do they play like the Monkey Ball games?

Nah, you control the marble itself. In Monkey Ball you tilt the level to control the ball.

Its also on Switch, and probably a good game for the switch, but Steam has workshop support and community made levels get put up on there so I went with Steam instead. I think Steam version gets updates faster too. Switch supposedly is getting a "best of" pack with community levels from the Steam version though

New games added to GOG Connect.

Not gonna bother listing them. Not because I'm lazy or anything. It's just that, you know...I don't wanna spoil the surprise.

EDIT: Ok, I'm gonna spoil my dumb "joke" by doing this, but I just wanted to point out that Order Of Battle: World War II is free to play on steam. All you need to do to get it on GOG is click "Play Game" on the steam store page while logged into your steam client. You don't even have to download anything when the window pops up prompting you to do so. This will tie the game to your steam account so GOG Connect can pick it up.

The GOG version of the game includes U.S. Pacific DLC, which is currently $4.79 on steam.

There's a lot of shit garbage awful games value in that bundle!
Convinced, buying now!

Also, how do people use Macbooks? I've had to buy two of those expensive magnetic chargers so far for my work laptop because the shit casing always breaks and exposes the wires.

Chrono managed to clean out their old coin shop inventory and just have two games left.

There should be new additions tomorrow. Whatever is added will likely sell out within a day or so, unless it's a bundle repeat.

Maybe Chrono needs to crash their coin market like Groupees crashed the Jonny coins.

It’s because someone found a security flaw in their site and spent a bunch of other peoples coins and cleared out the store, I know because it happened to me. CS claimed I’d be getting all my coins back at some point but it’s been a week, so we’ll see.

They said there hadn’t been a data breach or anything like that, but they managed to get in via credentials from some other website that had been hacked

Oh wow, I had no idea. That sucks.

A few weeks ago Chrono started discounting their coin shop games, so I had assumed that those games had sold out because of that.

My queue has been so dang useless lately.  It seems to be a combo of:

1a.  Do you like boobies!!!!???  Here's  a game for you!!  (uh, I know where the internet is, i'm on it.  I know how to find boobies, thanks)

1b.  Hey, you know that meme that was funny for five minutes?  Here's a game about it!

2.  Our game looks like it was made in 1993, we're so retro!  (great, your retro game still needs to be good, and yours is crap)

3.  Omg, we're the 107th copycat of some game that was cool 5 years ago.  (go away, nobody wants to play the same game over and over)

4.  We're making the exact same game we've already made before, but now... introducing..  A VR VERSION!.  (nah, pass)

5.  We've been in Early Access for 4 years now.  We might have had a good idea once, and might do so again. Find out in 2022, when our game comes out!

6.  Here's the sequel to a game.  (yay!)  Oh, we're jumping genres and making it a --insert latest 15 minutes of fame genre--.  (oh, I guess us old fans can just go die then, thanks)

My main problem with most of this it's so stagnant.  For every truly great idea or implementation of a game, we get 75 games made by people too lazy or dull to innovate or dream big.  I used to genuinely enjoy going through the queue to find game ideas and discover things.  Now, I just click through as fast as possible so I can get my cards during events.

yea i got an email saying here are your 4 copies of insurgency, that i didnt actually order cause who needs insurgency at this point. But im sure it helped them clear all those out

I got a recommendation for video blackjack today.  Nothing special about it, just video blackjack like you'd get from a 300 Casino Games CD-ROM at Office Depot.

Thanks, Steam algorithm.  Bang up job.
