Any idea why this is in my inventory? If I try to activate it says I already own the game.

*EDIT* Looks like it's because I bought the War of the Vikings Valhalla Edition.

I can say that Raetekon has an incredible aesthetic, and it plays well, too. I think I'll go back and beat that after finishing up Blackgate.

And OH MY GOD FREDDI FISH AND PUTT-PUTT I NEED IT ALL!!! $100 bucks is pretty damn steep, though. I'll consider for...$10... but on sale for $5.

"Its for War of the Vikings: "Giftable Bonus Coins to help a friend-in-arms begin customizing faster"

That's what google turned up. Not sure how they function in game.

How much better is Tomb Raider GOTY than base Tomb Raider? GMG has GOTY for $7.49and I already have the base game, is it really worth the upgrade?
The only DLC worth anything is the Tomb of the Lost Adventurer, and that's only worth it if you haven't played the game yet and it's on sale for a buck on Steam.

Unless you really like skins, or plan on staging a giant internet revival of the multiplayer. Better bust out the paddles if that's your plan.

Thanks for the input guys namely Waggles, asheskitty, and Itrain23 regarding Tomb Raider GOTY. Here's hoping GMG has a better Day of Deals tomorrow. BTW the new Strider game is pretty good...

Activates on Steam, unless otherwise noted. (Note: Although they are for MAC versions, Steam activated games should work for PC also.)
NOT all Steamworks games support Steamplay.

When buying a Mac version for a Steam-version of a game - if you ALSO want a Windows version thrown in, you need to check if it supports STEAMPLAY.

Just check the game's page on Steam - and see if it's listed.

STEAMPLAY = Get both Windows and Mac versions, at least.

You'd have to check to see if Linux is also supported, if you want that version too.

STEAMWORKS = Steam's DRM + all of Steam's functions suite (Steam Achievements, automatic updates, built-in back-up utility, BIg Picture Mode, Friends List, etc etc).

Appreciate the info. All the Mac games activated on Steam in the GGG Aspyr Sale are Steamplay, so they're good to go for PC.

Anyone have an opinion on Fate vs. Fate Undiscovered Realms?  I know there's like two more expansions they'll put up on Steam but I'm wondering if it's similar to the differences between Torchlight and Torchlight 2?  Technically speaking they are different games with different content but practically speaking there's little to no reason to play Torchlight 1.

FFS, I just told you this in chat! Why do you doubt me, WHY?!?

I need multiple opinions.
When I tell you something, it's a FACT!

Now I present to you "proofs and what not" from the wild tangent product page:

New features include Hardcore mode (cheats disabled, more difficult monsters) and a level cap of 199 - import characters from the original FATE and continue your quest. It is time, once again, to determine your FATE!
In other words, not much of anything is new.

They're obviously stringing things along to milk the most money out of it.  Assuming you can start from level one in UR it doesn't seem like there's much reason to buy vanilla.

I have Fate (original) from Retail - and...that's it.

When's the Fate: Complete Pack coming to Steam?

That's when I might care about this.
Retail, eh? Pretty sure that one has that amazing wild tangent crap extra software you have no choice but to install.

There is ONE game, ONE, that isn't steamplay. Call of Duty Black Ops. Every other single game that is Steamworks and MAC has steamplay.
