I kind of want Zafehouse, but I don't really care much for anything else in the Blink bundle. Well, except Silent Storm, but I have that already.

$2 now with games I don't care for, $2.50 at some other point on sale, or $0 if I wait til I actually get around to playing it, aka maybe never.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the game is entirely in first person... That's one of the most misleading "sex sells" covers in the history of crappy indie game covers.

But yeah, the game is horrendous. You'll be like "WOW! The graphics are actually pretty good!", and then you'll realize how terrible it is 5 minutes after turning it on.

Really sad too, because I wanted it to be good... I still put an hour or so into it, hoping it would get better. It doesn't.

They're very common in Asia, which makes me feel a little bit better about the fact that I've never travelled outside of the States.

I've only been to the UK and Puerto Rico/Dominican Republic. Don't feel too bad, not much to see (saw a castle though, was kinda neat), but then again I was pretty much there for the women.

There are no third party Steam keys.

I guess Epic can't be arsed to remove GFWL from the game, just as Rockstar is apparently planning to let GTA IV die off, judging from the posts in the game's forums.

And was the online for Bulletstorm even any good? I have it on Origin so I've never cared about having it on Steam (I still don't, though I'm sure certain CAGs are swearing under their breath for not buying on Steam now that they can't have it), but it looked like a mostly single player game...

... what? That's not true. I just tried activating my Amazon-bought key. They used to activate on Origin - that's how I got my copy there. But apparently that hasn't worked for some time.

It's not about the online being good or not (I haven't tried it) but that you can't play any part of it with an offline profile (including single player), essentially making the game unplayable once GFWL shuts down.

My guess is that publishing rights have reverted from EA to Epic Games. Hopefully it'll be back up on Steam sans GFWL.

As far as multiplayer goes... yeah it was pretty fun. I doubt there's many people playing it at all. I'd say don't count on MP and enjoy the SP game instead.

I played it and enjoyed it. It's not super long, it's pretty simple as far as VNs go, but the writing was good and got a handful of laughs out of me. It was easy to connect with the girls (not enough to... marry one of them for realies, but I digress), and the "virtual girlfriend" mode after you finish the story and decide to date one of them is amusing. Unfortunately that mode is almost entirely controlled via voice commands... in Japanese. I patched the game into English, but that does nothing to the voice commands, so it's too much of a pain to bother at that point.

Really though, the production value is obviously way higher than your average VN. It's a well made game and worth a couple hours if you like that sort of thing at all. I'd recommend it.

I can see the desire to have more mouse buttons, trust me I 10 on the mouse I use, BUT buttons on a mouse that aren't easy/comfortable to reach aren't really useable so be careful when you open the box so you can keep everything as new as possible... Amazon will take it back.

Also, I think you might be approaching your problem from the wrong hand... You seem to be mad at them for making you use the keyboard in a way you don't want to... A fully customizable "keyboard" makes more sense to me. Have you thought about replacing your keyboard for a gaming keypad? (Like the Orbweaver, g13, Nostromo, etc?)
