I already have a marriage pact with someone. But it's looking like she'll probably end up hitched before then (not surprised in the slightest). But until then, I'm spoken for in terms of marriage pacts. :p

Apparently the PC version is crap, but I don't think I'd directly compare Dementium to Amnesia and Penumbra. Those two games are heavily focused on suspense, stealth, survival, etc. Dementium is kinda fucked up and has no problem throwing subtlety out the window, throwing you into hellish, violent battles and whatnot. It's sort of a cross between Amnesia and Painkiller or NecroVisioN in that regard.

We'll make exceptions for serious relationships. The marriage pact gets extended 2 years. If you aren't engaged or married within two years then it's not meant to be.

Haha, very funny. She's older than me, But no thank you, a marriage pact is in itself a back-up plan. I think I'd shoot myself if I needed a back-up plan for my back-up plan.

P.S. The Gala\Humble way of redeeming games to your account does suck in one regard, that you have to go through your library to find the new games, and then install the games. Redeeming keys means you get to install the game right then and there.

Since you asked, it's mostly a joke. but I think it's a kind of an agreement to settle for a close friend and avoid dying alone/not having kids, and yes for tax breaks. That's not depressing, right?

P.S.S.S. UtopianMachine doesn't have a marriage pact.. because she's already married. :p

Walkonshadows is right though. It's a sad, sad thing to do a marriage pact Just take your promise ring off, remove her initials tattooed on the small of your back, and ask her to return your balls. Or at least one of them.

I think you missed the part where it's mostly a joke? Nobody's waiting around for anyone, it's just a "Hey, if we're not married by 30, let's get hitched" thing that came up a while back (we've both been in serious relationships since then).. Wasn't my idea either, but what do I have to lose? :p

It's for people who actually have marriage as a life goal. I think it's a retro-hipster thing.

Steam->Account Details (upper right corner) you can see games added to your account in reverse chronological order... very handy for recovering from a bundle-induced blackout when you're trying to figure what you did/bought.
