I thought Sims 3 felt boring compared to 1 and even 2. Tried playing for a bit but couldn't get into it at all (felt more likely to fall asleep). Maybe my tastes just changed.

MoH: Warfighter was on sale previously for something like $4 from GMG. I think last winter sale. The single player campaign was both enjoyable and forgettable. Just looked up my thoughts from when I played it:

I played about half of the MoH: Warfighter missions tonight. They aren't bad although they're short and by the time I get into the flow of things, they're over. I don't know if the later missions will take longer. I know the SP campaign is always a near afterthought in these games though so I'm not expecting a lengthy experience.

The game seems okay to me; nothing more or less special than most shooters. Graphics are nicely done although I seem to have some sort of creepy goblin-child for a daughter. I don't have any real issues with it so far, just a pretty standard linear shooter tack-on SP campaign with the usual jack-of-all-trades nonsense ("You need to be the sniper! Now steer this robot! Now help secure this building interior! Now chase this truck in this car!" etc). I wouldn't have wanted to pay over the four bucks for it though, once I finish it I doubt I'll ever pick it up again.

When I finished it, I felt about the same -- was fun while it lasted but it was a once and done sort of experience. I think most of the negative reviews came from its multiplayer experience which I didn't touch. It's a fairly standard linear military shooter with relatively pretty graphics.

Same here. I think is just a matter of taste & time. Tried Sims 3... It was on the same rails as Sims 1, but wider. But I created my characters, my house, wandered around... and got bored.

I don't think I'll try the MP portion. If the SP is about 5 - 8 hours length, I'm ok if it is fun.
