I was looking at som youtube videos. Blood Dragon looks to be a bit repetitive too. I like the 80s references, but the colors... it looks like you're always on the exact same place. Maybe I'm wrong.

If any of you fake CAG'd it and kickstarted Wasteland 2, all buyers have access to beta Steam keys now. Those keys will be updated to the full game on the August release.

Oh curse my wishlist!    Seeing a game that is 40 or 50 percent off is easy to ignore.  It's those blasted 66 percents that whisper "come on and buy me!".

I know I complimented you guys on pointing out awesome games, but I think my wallet is going to hate me this sale.  That Naruto game might as well not have existed for all I knew.  Now I've been made aware of it and I'm in trouble.  I've pretty much watched all the episodes of the two Naruto shows and that game looks sweet.  I can't even argue if  it's discounted enough.  I might have argued that I didn't want it because of it being dubbed voices, but they even have the option to play it in Japanese.

I've actually managed to increase my wishlist since the sale started.  I even added that One Way Heroics game somebody mentioned because the price vs card money.  I actually like the look of that game.

Probably a dumb question, but I'm a Steam noob of sorts. Is the Half-Life bundle worth it, keeping in mind several things:
1- playing on a Mac.
2- had the original, never finished (switched computers and never replayed).
3- tried 2 with Orange Box on 360 and didn't really like it, though admittedly didn't give it that much time.

Any help/feedback is welcome (even yelling and bashing :p). Thanks, gang!

1: Can you play TF2 / CS Go on your Mac? If so you can run Half-Life 2.

2: HL1's story isn't that important. It's just "scientist goes on a rampage against aliens and the government." There, now you can play HL2.

3: If you didn't like it then, you might not like it now.

If you're gonna buy HL2, might as well wait for The Orange Box to go on sale so you get Portal and the HL2 episodes, too.

Let me talk you off a big ledge. 66% off ain't nothin. Put it in the pile with 25%, 33%, and 50%. 66% is an ordinary day discount. If it isn't 75% off or something you're going to play immediately, just wait. Most especially, wait for daily/flash deals. Anything that isn't featured, wait until the last day unless it's 75% off or more already.

If you are a fan of Half-Life then obviously the bundle is worth it. I loved Half-Life 1, but never finished 2 but I loved the hours I poured into it and plan to actually pick it up and beat HL2 and the episodes soon.

But if you didn't like HL2 in the past, you probably aren't going to like it now. But if you want to try it, then 10 bucks for the half life bundle isn't too much of a risk.

EDIT: I just saw that HL2 has a demo. Try that, if you like it then buy the bundle. If you don't, well then don't lol

I hope the Cossacks and American Conquest Pack ends up on sale before the 30th.  I passed on the two Bundlestar bundles for $5 each thinking Steam would have the whole thing at 75% off.  It looks like the last sale was in December 2012 so I would say the games are due another discount.

i remember that the Steam version is buggy, esp. for the later game (2nd part of cossack and American conquest)

Cossack 2 has the ball to actually charge you for the extra campaign scenario as DLC (it was released free of charge in the past & fully compatible with GOG version)

i would go the GoG version if I was you

Sale price of the game is actually $9.99 not the $10.00 required to get the card. I was wondering the same why I didn't receive a card, until I bought something that put me over the $10 limit total. and got a card.

Buy Defy Gravity! Not only make money on it thanks to the summer sale card, but make extra on the Defy gravity cards as well (using the two I've been checking, it's still at worst probably .35-.42 for a .29 investment).

EDIT: In non-card news, going through my wishlist I noticed Starbound oddly isn't discounted. Not sure if that means anything or not but there you go.

PCM13 is down to $4.99 which I'm heavily tempted to jump on now, since it seems unlikely to be a daily or flash considering it's pretty niche and 14 is out (I think, might be coming out soon). GearCity basically just put back the 25% discount it had last week I believe, tempted to buy at that knowing it's a poor discount but like what I've played of the open beta so far. Torn between setting it as a "Going to buy," or a last day purchase if I haven't spent too much by then.

What the HELL happened to us Red Team!?! The Purple Team demoralized us by ~ 52,000 adventure points. Even 4th place Blue Team destroyed us on the first day by ~18,300 points. ...sigh.

I found today's deals rather lacking, but I did manage to pick up Defy Gravity (for the +1 and Card profits, thanks Red_Lizard2).

Here's hoping Day Two fares better for the Red Team, if not, drinks are on me. :beer:

Thanks, but I'm already aware of that and have been through these before. With other purchases from today I'm at a total of $23 spent, but only 1 card actually granted by Steam for my purchases. Hopefully they're just being really slow for some reason in fulfilling my second card.

Damnit... finally got it all downloaded and spent some time with Theater of Magic which I'd played a fair bit on the real table and now I really want to buy all three seasons, even if the ball feels a little extra bouncy vs the real thing. Of course they've spread the must-haves out very well between the seasons and the discounts, aside from the penny tables, are not great. Guess if there are't many other good dailies or flash deals I'll still have something to waste my money on at the end of the sale.

 
This guy apparently spent about $750 to get the level 150 adventurer 2014 badge and is planning on getting it to level 1000 - it's why the purple team is winning.

Just wanted to quickly second this.. I happened to buy and play BD first and absolutely loved it, perfect world size and length, great setting. It made me excited to play FC3, figuring it would be grander and better, but I found it to be repetitive, overly long, and visually bland in comparison.
