Oh, I really like Thief 2014 a lot.

I just have a complaint w/ it - the story and characters are...not that great, for the most part.

That's about it, for my complaint department w/ Thief 2014.

I do need to play that some more, once these sales end.

Yeah, I gotta say thanks to those who bought the base game and constantly remind me to not buy a Bethesda base game lol. Without them I might have made some mistakes and figured out myself that their dlc rarely goes cheap. But I pretty much wait for goty/complete editions of all games now.

Quite a while back, Dishonored GOTY glitched on Steam, IIRC, like at $4 or $5 or something.... :(

By far - this is best Splinter Cell game since Chaos Theory, if you ask me.

Don't think it's at great as Chaos Theory, though.

It's got some technical hurdles, though.

It doesn't deserve these kind of problems, either.

While it looks great maxed, it ain't the best running game. Unless you got a beast, expect to turn some things down. Had to turn off DX11, just to get it running well.

Couldn't get the MP and Online Co-Op to work.

And, the game kept crashing every 23 minutes.

Likely, I think it was doing some connection-check and kicking me b/c it couldn't find it.

There's no other logical reason it'd do this - unless it got some memory-leak bug or something.

Freaking UPlay.

Well, it's not like they've been bundled before just the once, it's that all the games in there have been bundled multiple times. I guess I expect a little better from Flying Bundle because they don't run bundles often.

That and Subject 9 is terrible. Haven't heard the best things about Nightmare either. Shufflepuck's supposed to be good at least.

Edit: Just to hammer the point home, Nightmare has been bundled 3 other times, Oknytt's been bundled 5 other times, Shufflepuck's been bundled 2 other times and Subject 9's been bundled 4 other times, and two of those bundles are still running right now.

If you live near Boston or have an interest in that stuff - yep, you'll love the Rev War setting.

The way the game looks, the atmosphere - it's excellent on that stuff!

I really didn't care for Connor as a character. Not much to him that's really interesting, to be honest. He's no Ezio, for sure.

Also, the story's down-right ridiculous...

It's as if Connor had a major role in EVERY important event, war, battle, meeting to try to form the Gov't and its laws, and anything else you can think of.

If you like AC games - gameplay-wise, you'll like it. It was quite refreshing to be out in the woods, hopping from tree-to-tree. Sure, there's rooftop running when in the cities - but still, tree-hopping was A LOT of fun.

It's no AC2+BH, to me.

Granted, I ain't played AC4 yet - for me, AC looks like this...

AC2 = AC:BH > AC3 > ACR > AC1.

I know - not many will agree where I place ACR - but, its gameplay bored me often and didn't feel like it had much new to it. Sorry, guys. While I did like the story and characters in ACR - I didn't like the new mission types (Tower Defense missions, Gold Edition's Portal-like missions) - for most of the game, it wasn't that fun for me.

Okay I saw a youtube video of SteamWorld gameplay and a review...it looks decent...i'll get it...I also saw a Shovel Knight gameplay and wow that looks hell a fun though I may wait for a better price on it. Looks awesome though.

 
Bought Steamworld. Looked fun enough.

I would like to also hand in my cheapass Steam Badge as I bought Shovel Knight. 2D Platformers are my weakness but this one looks amazing.

They're talking on a lot of older games w/ MP unofficially and are going to keep their MP alive.

Don't know if it's happened yet or what.

Steamworld Dig is my most expensive digital 3ds purchase, at $8 or $9 I think. Thoroughly enjoyed it though. Exceeded my expectations.

Well my market suspension finally wore off (thanks password change) so I was finally able to make it to level 8. Anyone know if the voting is retroactive and will I get the cards that I wasn't eligible for before reaching this level? I'm assuming not but at least I can get cards from here on out.

You should probably find someone who was level 7, had their account suspended from the market, voted a number of times on community votes and has now managed to raise their level to 8 after their market suspension lifted, and ask them. ;)

 
Ok. I had Fallen Enchantress LE on my wishlist since it came out, just like Eador... but I already have Eador from Groupees bundle and I love it because it is the only game I've played that gets a bit closer to Master of Magic

NOW FE:LE has a good price... but I feel it may drop its price soon (but it will be $29,99, bringing the game at $7.5 with the common $75 discount, so, only $0.50). Anyone played it? How it compares to Master of Magic and Eador?

Unfortunately its not retroactive but hopefully you'll be able to get enough summer cards to make a badge if you want. (Or just sell them.)

I'm not a level 8 yet, but the first few days of the sale there was a thing that said I would get my cards if I got to level 8. I just looked again though, and it appears that message has disappeared.

As long as you were voting all along, you should get a card for every three votes you cast. You will get the cards the next time you vote.

It mostly only stutters when driving after those tweaks. I haven't updated to the new patch tho, avoiding it. In borderless window, windows desktop does the vsync for you.

That explains why every game (Sleeping Dogs, The Secret World, Diablo 3, etc.) runs so much better in borderless windows for me.

I started buying do-it-yourself refill kits off EBay for the HP ink cartridges because I got tired of brand new $30 cartridges refusing to verify as genuine (they have sensors in the catridges themselves and I've never put anything other than the over priced genuine cartridges in it), asking me to install a genuine cartridge, so I use the refill kits to save major cash on the ink with ink cartridges that never threw that error. Of course, there are the problems with ink and toner out right lying to you about how much is actually left too. You should checkout Windowed Borderless Gaming if you haven't. It lets you run games in borderless window mode that don't have native support for it, and fixes some games that have terrible screentearing (Chantelise is a good example).
