Card City Nights is great. I hoped it would get a flash / community sale because I missed the bundle it was in by one or two days, but glad I picked it up. I love the character designs and the flavor text, though by no means A+ Comedy Gold (TM), is amusing for some light-hearted fun.

Also put some time in Risk of Rain and Batteblock Theater. The latter makes me yearn for N++, which I won't get to play with my main group because they don't want PS4s. Risk of Rain is right on the edge of addictive and infuriating. I read a bit on the game's Steam forums and it sounds like there's eventually a way to select enhancements to your characters before beginning a run, but I haven't figured that out just yet. If/when I do I might aim for beating the main game--otherwise it'll gather dust unless a friend picks it up.

Think I'm going to try One Way Heroics tonight, and maybe some State of (Tim) De(k)ay unless I load up Woofenstine from Gamefly on PS4.

I actually do know some Russians, but I rarely make use of them since most of the stuff I buy is so cheap it's usually under a dollar difference.  For Lifeline it's only about $1 difference and that doesn't account for the grey market cut.

I'm surprised by how... greedy card sellers are. I took a look at the market - there are more than 60,000 of every Summer card that are priced over 20 cents each.

I had thought that people would go on a price lowering spree by now, selling them off for ten cents each to at least make some money before they vanished... but nope. Greed will be their downfall.

My guess is a lot of those are from people that just have no clue. Whenever they got their card(s) they just listed them for a little more than whatever the current price was and when prices fell they never bothered to re-adjust. I imagine most of those people have probably forgot they even have cards listed.

Bought some MP games I was missing, like battleblock (awesome game), contagion and BL2 GOTY (finally!). Some SP like betrayer (surprisingly good!) and FC3+BD

The bad things were the same as every sale: too many repeats, bad community choices (by the community), no DLCs discounts (or too stingy). Also, no glitches this time :(

So, not that bad IMHO.

That's exactly the site I used to build my rig. It also helped that it practically shopped for me. Since there'a Microcenter near, pretty much every item was grabbed there. My CAG-yness comes through on that site.

It's money already spent and in Gabe's pocket. You can either use it for games you'll (hopefully) play or let it sit and Gabe has the money while you have nothing.

Well, there were glitches.. but they were in russia, and only one of the glitches was region free (before it got trade locked).

The Valiant Hearts glitch was pretty awesome.

I bought keys for $2.15-$2.18 from the market this weekend although I can't say I was really impressed by the pricing at Dispenser.tf or whatever the site is called. Either stuff priced over its USD sale prices (if I converted back what I spent on tje keys) or close enough to not make a difference. I suppose if you're buying keys directly for 20¢-30¢ less each it might be more attractive.

Angels of Fasaria looks mildly interesting and the rest of it looks like filler that you stick in between decent games in a real bundle, so pass. Groupees continues to disappoint.

It also depends heavily on the game and the trader. For example, I traded Fall of Cybertron for 2 TF2 keys. Some traders were asking 2.5 keys for that... but even then, that'd be ~$6 vs the $12.49 (iirc) on the US store.

I remember playing Ultima 7 years ago then I showed it to my sister and was like 'Hey here's this really cool role playing game where you can wander around and talk to people who have their own schedules' etc. but all she did was run around and steal food from people in the the inn and start fires. Then she found the cheat and made 'mama' (naked cavewoman) invincible and run into church (Fellowship Hall) and beat down the pastor with a lightning whip while the congregation went nuts.

Some people just like to watch the virtual world burn.

I really want The Sun At Night. Even before this bundle actually. I'm glad I passed on Kel now too. The whole DRM free thing was ewww but since it's getting in a second bundle it will probably get enough exposure to get Greenlit and get a Steam key.

The rest are pretty meh but I will probably let Gilby talk me into them again. It's only a quarter! :p

Looks decent. I've always liked HTPCs even if they are kind of nichey.

The TF2 Dispenser is like Ross. There are some good deals there sometimes but you really have to dig through a bunch of junk to find them and it's a crap shoot if you'll find any at all at any given time.

I believe that it CAN be worth it, I just wasn't seeing it. Sort of like a first-timer coming into this Steam Sale based on past reputation ;)

I'll keep it bookmarked but I guess it's also hard to jump on things without having a ready reserve of keys.

Coolermaster does make some nice cases for that purpose. FWIW I have this one and I also have a full size video card in it.

The thing I like about that one is you can orient it either way and arranged vertically it looks like a component and doesn't look too honkin or out of place.

I got a few things but more often than not the prices were just not worth the trouble when I looked. Dynasty Warriors 8 for 9 DOTA 2 keys so ~$14.50 was a decent deal to me (I could have also bought it for 7 TF2 keys but that came out to more). I know it's FAKECAGing but for a month and a half old game from a Japanese publisher that retails for $50 I thought $15 wasn't that bad.

I haven't tried buying keys from people for Paypal yet. They seem really fussy and I kind of hate dealing with people which is why I like checking the dispenser. Plus I imagine there's some risk involved, although I suppose that's why the fuss about the whole reputation thing in the first place, of which I have none on the TF2 trading sites.

 
Telltale just started teasing The Wolf Among Us season finale which means it'll likely release on Tuesday of next week. It's currently 66% off in the recap sale if you were waiting for the full thing to release before buying.
