Just saw this, how the hell is Marc Ecko's Getting Up MSRP $15? I can't believe anyone but people either really stupid or with money to burn would pay $15 dollars for it now, it was barely worth that when it was newer (and I liked the game and am saying that!).

BTW, yes I realize really stupid is the definition of most Steam users but still.

Even though Real Boxing has ES and ITAD info on its store page reporting bundle inclusion, it appears buying that bundle will not provide Steam keys/lynx.

I lucked out and got my first foil (from Payday 1) during the summer sale, sold it pretty quick for ~$1. My gf was even luckier and got a foil Summer card from voting, but even those were only worth $2 or so at the time.

Random side question: for anyone who bought El Matador during the sale, have you experienced really weird shadow glitching? LIke the static shadows moving around as you walk, or shadows at a distance "disappearing" like it was a LOD distance issue? It's hard enough finding info on the game, but the few forum topics I found using The Googles never discovered a fix.
My first foil was McPixel, managed to sell for just over $3, but this was either when TCG was still in beta or shortly after, before card prices took a tumble. Don't remember my second foil but do remember it sold for less than $1, and got my third foil last night, on the market for around 50 cents now.

I just got a Beatbuddy foil from a booster , and it's worth 19 cents.  Less than the value of the booster.  Sigh.

I got a couple of weabo foils from the summer sale, money in the bank. Contrary to popular belief, weabos are useful for some things. Selling cards to, for one...

I think every game's cards should have weeaboo characters on it. Space Chem, zombie games, whatever, just throw some Anime shit on it so it will sell for higher prices.

Rogue Bucket will have hot anime chick cards, hot anime chick backgrounds, and pot leaf emoticons. Get your preorders in, folks! The 2014 Gold Rush is coming!

Project Zomboid kind of does this, another bog standard zombie game but the cards are raccoon drawings.

I got a foil for Astebreed and didn't see any others so I listed it at $5. Almost immediately I was undercut by 10 cents and another by 15 cents. Maybe I'll go one cent lower and then they'll undercut by another 10 cents and so on and then the game will be bundled and everybody dies.

Foils don't seem to sell well unless it's a fairly popular game (in which case they are usually cheap) from what I've seen.

Think I've gotten just one foil, forget what for though. Don't remember getting a lot for it, probably under a buck if I was to guess.

This is true. I've been the recipient of several foils that have never sold even once. The demand really isn't there for a Parkan 2 foil badge, for example. Hardly anybody knows or cares about that game.

I put about 10 cards up for sale last night and think they all sold this morning. No foils though. Wish they would sell more then an average of 11-13 cents though.

Including Foul Play as BrownDerby mentioned,

Gamefly is celebrating the weekend with an Indie-pendence Sale, for up to 90% off.

Dont forget to check Warlock II at gamefly, it might have some interesting discount if you are into that sort of games.

Edit. I have checked and it seems it is only applied in the UK the glitch. Amazon's  deal was better, but in case someone missed it.

Not seeing any discounts on Warlock II in the US store. Wouldn't surprise me if it glitched again though.

There is an Indie-pendence Sale going on though. Banner Saga is 50% off...does gamefly still do discount vouchers?

edit: Probably should have read the previous post.

Sorry it is a gltich but no idea why this time only in the UK. Should have checked before posting it.

This is true. I've been the recipient of several foils that have never sold even once. The demand really isn't there for a Parkan 2 foil badge, for example. Hardly anybody knows or cares about that game.
On the other hand, I can hardly image the size of my satisfied grin should I ever be blessed with an Agarest foil card in a random booster...

How do I switch the post per page count on mobile? It used to be like 25 but now it is like 5. Have no idea how it got changed.

I really need to stop reading this thread before bed. I had a dream I won the limerick contest and had to double check the thread. No more late night CAGing

Heaven forbid Kerbal go lower than that same 40% off sale they've been doing over and for the last year for their supposedly (if the community and press a year ago were to be believed) nearly finished game which is still in Early Access

There's some alright stuff in that Gamefly list...likely passing like Chaos on Deponia...own the first 2....likely wait for a bundle...along with more Dark Eye games.

On the other hand, I can hardly image the size of my satisfied grin should I ever be blessed with an Agarest foil card in a random booster...
Man my Valeria background sold for a couple bucks last week, and I just got one of the rare backgounds with the sequel. Also got a foil.

Agarest has been good to me.

So the cards for Cinders, one of the BTA games in the current Humble Weekly, sell decently.

That's about the best thing I can say about the bit I played while idling it, and I do enjoy visual novels on occasion.  =\
